Today's quote from 365 Days Of Wonder!
Let that sink in🌞
" An act of kindness never dies, but extends the invisible undulations of its influence over breadth of centuries"
In 365 Days Of Wonder there is a quote for every day of the year, this week (on September 9th) I read this quote that caught my eye.
What a lovely book! Full of inspiring messages, quotes, and excerpts. Perfect for a classroom or just to have by your side to remember the most important things in life aren't always what they seem. We sometimes get too busy trying to get through our days to remember to appreciate and practice simple acts of kindness and acceptance.
365 Days of Wonder: Mr.Browne‘s Book of Precepts written by R.J. Palacio is a fiction book that has inspiring quotes for every day of the year. The quotes range from history, love, friendship, courage, and kindness. This would be a fun thing to do with the class as a bell ringer. We could start the morning by reading a quote and then writing about it or the teacher can simply ask comprehension questions about it. #ucflae3414su19

Beautiful Day today. Put a hold on my books for a gorgeous bike ride. 🚵🏼♀️ Enjoying the weather while it is here.
Saw this one in the kid‘s section at the library yesterday, so naturally had to break my ban on buying/checking out books. 🤣 And long story short, I‘ve read about half of it and I am loving this book! 💜 Wish I owned it.
"Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by
If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through for you."
-Nat King Cole

I bought this last month, and thought it would be fun to share a quote each day for 2018. But then I put it on my bookshelf and totally forgot until now.... so looks like I'll be posting the first 6 days today. 🙈🙈 How bad is it that I feel this far behind in the FIRST WEEK of the new year! 😆 #365DaysofWonder
I guess it is time to plan my #2018goodreadsreadingchallenge.
Happy New Year everyone! I hope y'all read some fine books this year. ❤ #2018 #tbr

I love this book of quotes. All the positivity on this book and how we should all be kind to one another is amazing.
Very excited to find this book at our local thrift store.
Figured I'd give myself some inspiration heading into the homestretch of the school year... The beautiful weather helps
Enjoying this book very much. My teenage boys humour me when I read it ( but once upon a time they would have loved the ritual of reading it) #theygrowuptoofast
Processing new books. This is today's precept.

She got the "P" part right.

A "wonderful " book about how to live life! #septphotochallenge #day2 #somethingforsept
I don't know how I missed this when it first came out! I love the novel, Wonder, and this is the perfect companion.
Thinking about starting my ELA classes with journalling instead of reading next year--this would be a great source of writing prompts. I also want to use Wonder, the novel it came from, as a class novel or in literature circles, so the kids would like the connection.
