pickLissa and Rose's reunion is possibly the most joyful scene in literature. And I just love the expansion of the universe that happens in this book. And and LIGHT OF MY LIFE SYDNEY SAGE! #yafantasy
pickRose made me laugh again at some point. I love her comments and way to think. We got also two new interesting characters to the series and I hope to get more time with them in the next installments.
This was really enjoyable read.

I was obsessed when these books first came out but somewhere around the 5th book I stopped reading. I can't remember if I lost interest in the story or if I was focused on other books. I may need to re-read this series to remember.

CONTAINS SPOILERS! I wish Dimitri was still here. He was so great with Rose and how he calmed her down in Shadow Kiss was so sweet and meaningful. He is just one of those characters that you read and are maybe a little sceptical at first but learn to love him.

pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I self sabotaged and really dragged reading this book out. I only have two books left. What do I even do after this? This was incredible and kept me at the edge of my seat. Just like the earlier books in the series, it was so addictive, and you can‘t help but read 180 pages in a 90 minute sitting. This series sets the bar of how YA books should be written.

pickThis book, to me, was on the slow side compared to the first 3 in the series. I kept waiting for something to happen and it took forever when it finally did. Still, it was a worth it as it's another piece of the VA puzzle. Only 2 more books to go, which is both exciting and terrifying.
pickMy least favorite book in the series but I still loved it.
You know a book is good when you almost start crying in a public place.
pickI'm currently reading this book for the fourth time and I still get super emotional during it, especially after Shadow Kiss. If you are in anyway emotional, I suggest you read this in a room by yourself and with a box of tissues.

pickFinished Blood Promise and I have to admit...... I do NOT like Strigio Dimitri. It literally breaks my heart that Rose is going through that much pain and went on a hunt to stake him. I just want Dimitri and Rose to be together ...
Reading this book... And my heart just keeps breaking for Rose. I wish she would just catch a break 😞
Thought I'd switch it up and get back into this series since it's on my summer read list!
