I've read this when I was a kid. It's as good as I remember and it was quite entertaining even though my memory was refreshed with the new show.

Holy shit what an ending!
Interesting story, although a bit dull at times. Characters weren't fully relatable though they were likable. Romance was a bit rushed and I wasn't really feeling it.
Story itself was something new and made me think about their system quite a lot.
This has to be one of my favorite JLA's standalone books I've read so far.
This series could easily be one of my all time favorites.
I love how everything connects sooner or later. Love the characters.
Lilac still has a special place in my heart though.
Cute although highly predictable. It's an obvious summer/beach read though because it's quick, easy, funny and enjoyable.
A must read for real Shadowhunters!
It was quite educational and made me think at length about TMI and TID. Will definitely have to re-read the rest of the books sometime soon!
Much more interesting than for example Fantastic Beasts novella.
This ended much sooner than it was supposed to. Someone give me a sequel stat!
Loved it! Loved Cinder, Kai, Iko, Peony... can't wait to see where the story will lead us.
I really liked the similarities between Cinder and Cinderella. They were quite smartly written in the story.
It was quite clear that it was based on a game and not the other way around.
Still an intriguing story full of deceit and betrayal.
I've watched the movie before I've read the book. Even though I knew the ending it was still very interesting read. All along I was trying to catch the small details that would suggest point to the ending I was expecting.
I highly recommend this book.
What a plot twist ending!
Easy, quick and very enjoyable read.
Highly recommend, especially if you are in a book slump.
This is by far one of the most confusing books I've ever read.
Half of the time I had no idea what was going on, whose POV it was from or who the hell was good and/or bad...
I have half a clue about what exactly was the ending, but am still not 100% sure.
This book made me miss Teresa all over again. It answered so many questions...
Fully action packed from the very beginning and until the end.
I think this must be the first book in the series that didn't end with a huge cliffhanger that would want me to zap myself into the future. I am still looking forward to read the next book, because this series is just that good.
I loved Alex's presence in the book, especially because she is and probably always will be one of my all time favorite characters from JLA's books.
Oh Sethie what have you done...
My two favorite demigods finally met! I was soooo excited I couldn't get myself to keep reading which was kind of ruining the moment because I wanted to know how would their first interaction go.
Loved it. Literally read 280 pages in a day because I couldn't put it down.
Holy Shit!
Sarah did it again! She wrote another masterpiece. This book was so carefully crafted and the story brilliantly thought out.
There were tears of happiness and sadness, there was so much fear and anxiety but no matter all that, there was a kind of ending that wouldn't leave me entirely furious if the series ended. I will, however, start counting down the days until the next book comes out immediately.
Holy Gods! This was amazing. Such a fast and intense read. I am lucky to have the sequel close by!
I liked Covenant a lot, especially Alex's character. I am glad she wasn't completely ignored but was quite highly acknowledged.
Also, Jen, your modern references are on point. They made me laugh every single time.
I've read it in one sitting! It's been a while since I haven't been able to put a book down. This book was just wow. Wow! Cleverly written and all in all completely unbelievable.
Loved it!!! Now I can finally go check out the show.
Currently reading.
Might finish this book in one sitting. I've already read over 200 pages so why not read the rest of them.
To be honest, I expected more but it was still an entertaining book. However, I do believe it could be 100-150 pages shorter because some parts of story were boring, but I hope those parts will be of importance in a sequel...
This was 100 times better than Glass Sword!
I have to admit, after Glass Sword I lost a lot of excitement for this series, but luckily King's Cage was perfect!
It was interesting, action fueled, full of twist throughout the whole book. I absolutely loved it!
Also, I am really glad we got Evangeline's POV chapters, because now that I understand her and her intentions, she might be one of my favorite characters.
Without a doubt one of my favorite books I've ever read.
There was always something going on, but never too much that would make everything confusing or bored even.
Some of my favorite characters come from this book now and I will definitely re-read it when I get my own copy.
Very entertaining!
Also, I had no idea I would love political schemes so much. Maybe even a bit too much!
My current read.
I started Elantris yesterday and I couldn't stop reading it. It's been a while since I could lose myself completely in a book. I love this feeling. It feels great!
Definitely an interesting read. I haven't read a book like that before.
Although, I do feel that because of the way the story was conducted, there were too much holes, too much unfinished and unexplained business.
However, I have to admit it felt refreshing to read a book which story was actually made from a lot of different interviews.
Give it a chance if you like Zombie/war/strategy kind of stories.
Not what I expected from Jane Austen but that somehow made it even better. I really liked it.
This was great! Highly enjoyable read and I would definitely recommend it.
The book's ending or better yet the events toward the ending will stay with me for quite a while, making me think about it and making me figure out how could I miss so many (now) obvious details.
Loved it!
I've loved it! I love the characters, I love that it's different than the show but yet just enough similar.
Ending was perfect! I would very much like another book but at least this one didn't end with an enormous cliffhanger like Homecoming did.
You can really see Kass' growth through the books as a writer and a storyteller. I am really glad to have been part of this journey.
I can't believe it's over. That can't be it... Damn...
Even though it left me heartbroken, the ending was perfect.
One of the best stories I've read!
This book is incredibly witty and has the most relatable main character I've encountered in a while. The book is written intelligently and it's funny. Story is mostly light but it also touches a couple of dark subjects (grief, anxiety, etc.). I loved the ending and am really looking forward to reading the sequel.
This book had so much potential, but it seemed empty... will read the sequel as well though because the story is interesting after all.
A fun read with interesting and very welcoming plot twist.
Never before seen stories... I am sure glad they are seen now because it would be a damn shame if Richelle would keep them for herself!!!
I don't know why, but I expected more. Satisfying ending though.
Good story, quick and enjoyable read but a bit hastily written with rushed scenes and unfinished ending.
