Four of Maya Angelou‘s amazing poems!
In starting #TheSealeyChallenge , I‘ve been realizing just how little poetry I‘ve actually read! I‘ve read Angelou‘s prose, I‘ve listened to her speak, but Still I Rise is the only poem of hers I‘ve read until today! She‘s such a powerful writer, rage and pride and sorrow, all wrapped up in strong rhymes and great rhythm. More of hers to come! 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
