3 ⭐ This picture book is interesting. The illustrations are the standout in this book. They‘re bright they‘re colorful and they really bring the joy to the words on the pages. This isn‘t bad and it seems like it wants to have a cadence but the cadence frequently changes which causes stutters as reading aloud. Overall, the story and the message are nice but the book is just ehh.

Neurodivergent Marley is determined to finally go to their first ever Pride, but they have to find ways to make Pride work for their sensory needs. I absolutely loved this beautiful picture book. The characters are wonderful, the textures of every page are amazing, and the illustrations are inclusive. #picturebook #Neurodivergent #lgbtqia #inclusive #disabilities

Our Class is a Family | Shannon Olsen

I think this would be a great book to share with your class at the beginning of the year so that they understand the importance of having your class become your family and realizing that they can support each other and have a sense of belonging.
