Delightful! Up there with The Masqueraders as my favourite Heyer. Mr Beaumarisis definitely my favourite Heyer hero.

1. My parents named me Cindy with the reasoning that it‘s what everyone would call me if I was named Cynthia, but I much prefer Cynthia (SO many people call me that!). I love long, traditional names like Arabella, Letitia, Catherine, Sabrina, etc. We named our daughter Victoria Elizabeth! 😁

Not great.

I think this will be one of my favorite books! It‘s humorous, clever, and subtly romantic. 💐🌷❤️
Okay... this post was all a ploy to show off my new mug. It‘s from my grandmother ❤️💐 #teacherlife
My first time reading this author! I have heard so many positive things, so I have high expectations 🙃 I am enjoying it so far!
Finally getting properly going on #readathon after some little bursts of reading earlier in the day! #historical #historicalromance #georgetteheyer
My third Heyer and not my favorite. I think I might have read too many of them back-to-back and so this one shared too many of the familiar tropes. A sweet girl accidentally makes everyone think she's an heiress. A rich man falls in love with her despite that. Fun, but not memorable. If you're trying her out for the first time, I definitely recommend The Grad Sophy.
Heyer aficionados, I need your help! Hoopla has several of her titles on audio. Which one do you recommend reading first?
I pretty much always find time to read a Heyer when I'm on vacation - lighthearted, happy, and delightful. This one was just as adorable and fun as expected.
My last day in the Finger Lakes, and the only day that it wasn‘t too hot to sit outside. Starting Book Five from my #MakeMeReadIt list.
This was my favourite so far of my Hoopla audible books. Arabella is a minister‘s daughter who finds herself masquerading as a wealthy heiress during her London season. This one is so funny and has one of my favourite male suitors. There‘s a very cute puppy 🐶 rescue. 👍👍#romantsy
I couldn‘t quite capture how big and red the setting sun looked. Still listening to Arabella, it‘s so good! Sweet, funny and English.
I picked up my other book from the post office this morning, @erista ! Thank you so much! I will enjoy reading these Heyer books!
A Yorkshire accent? Heaven forfend!
I have read and enjoyed this book in print a half dozen times, but loving it on #audiobook this time!
Georgette Heyer is definitely who I turn to when I want a happy book. I‘ve read all 66 of her books a gazillion times, and they‘re the perfect light, funny thing when I‘m having a bad day! (If you‘re not familiar with her, she basically invented Regency romances. But hers are not bodice rippers - More Jane Austen-esque.) #2018bookbinge
