I have 2 favorite zombies R from Warm Bodies, and Liv Moore (what an absolutely perfect name, great job Chris Roberson!) from iZombie.

So this was kinda weird I guess. A sexy lady zombie, a sexy lady ghost, multiple sexy lady vampires. Oh and also boys are in it. I think this might be the kind of thing that gets better the more you read and the more you get attached to the characters. And maybe after the discovery of exactly what happened to Gwen and how she became a zombie. I'll pick up the second one at some point.

I've been meaning to watch the show that I assume is based on these for a while but haven't gotten round to it. I went in pretty much blind and found it surprisingly good. A bit more YA than I expected, but fun nonetheless. This one started out on Halloween, so bonus for that. 👻

This first issue was fun and a good start to the series. Bonus to discover it starts on Halloween so +25 points for #Scarathlon2020! Loved that her Halloween costume was Shaun of the dead⚰️🧟‍♀️

So it was super different from the show, but in a good way. The graphic novel has some really cool artwork and the storyline is funny, interesting and slightly romantic. I loved the personalities of the characters and the way they all look. Definitely going to get volume 2.
Ps: I was lucky enough to get my hands on a signed edition!

Gonna give this a quick read!
I'm a bug fan of the TV show so I'm hoping this is just as gruesome and funny...

I really enjoyed this comic which was actually created prior to the TV series coming out. It's a little different from the TV series, but I didn't mind at all. The comic has a range of different types of monsters. This comic was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the artwork and the dialogue and I will definitely continue on with this series.

I started with the show which I did enjoy better, but I‘m interested to see how this one pans out.

About 2 years ago, I read an izombie comic from library for a book challenge. When thinking about the #zombie prompt on #scaryscavengerhunt, I wanted to read more. Got this one from hoopla, then looked at my library yesterday to figure out which one I‘ve read. I had read the 2nd, so now that I‘ve read the 1st, things make a lot more sense. Pretty good comic. Already knew the show is completely different. @Clwojick #scarathlon #teamslaughter

This was a really fun graphic novel and I‘ll probably read more of them; I liked the artwork and concepts, and it was funny!! Why haven‘t I read it before?
There were all sorts of monsters (including both zombies and vampires plus ghosts). And it‘s set in the PNW. Bonus points from me for that.

The TV show IZombie is one of my favorites so when I saw it was inspired by this comic/graphic novel series I decided to check it out. The first thing you learn is they aren't very much alike at all but that made it interesting to read. The second stand out thing about this IZombie is that the art work is incredible! I will definitely have to check out the rest of the volumes of IZombie when I can.

I love this show so I decided to read the comics. The show is completely different from the comic but I‘m ok with that. I enjoy Both and I like the differences.

Loving our graphic novel selection here at my library! I really enjoyed this story and the art in this one. I have watched all the seasons of IZombie and love the concept. I was surprised that this story was about a completely different zombie. But it was nice to have a fresh story that was not spoiled for me by already watching the tv series.

This was a fresh take on zombies and how they act and eat brains. I also liked the art style and colors. This gives me a good idea of how the show will be since I've wanted to watch it for a while!

Gwen Dylan is a zombie.
When she eats a brain (Don‘t worry she steals them from corpses not the living) she takes on the memories and personality traits of the person, including any skills they had such as painting! She has inhuman strength and speed, and is pretty hard to kill, so basically immortal.

I prefer the TV show (ME/Police and grittier. Yay Liv!) but the main zombie traits remain the same ☺️
