“You‘re not others”
“No?”
“No”
“Why?”
“Because I love you”
Astrid was silent for so long, Sam thought he had upset her. Yet she never loosened her hold on him, never pulled away but kept her face buried in his neck. He could feel her warm tears on his skin. And at last she said
“I love you too”

Coffee in cute fall mug✅ Sweater and leggings ✅ Cooler temps outside✅ and of course a good book✅ Kicking of this Saturday with some quiet reading time for #cocoturns50, #outstandingoctober #scarathlon and #screamathon2020 before the family gets up. My goals for #cocoturns50 is 2 books and 20 hours of reading!
I really liked this book. It is obviously geared towards a younger audience, in both content and language, but I enjoyed it anyway.

Day 1 of #BoringUglyCovers
This one certainly hits the boring criteria!
Genre: Teen Fiction, Thriller
Date started: September 14th, 2019
Date completed: October 6th, 2019
How did you find this book: I was on the Chapters website trying to find an interesting book and I just so happen to come across Gone by Micheal Grant. It seemed really interesting because of the wording on the back of the book so I went to chapters and bought this book along with the other two books that go along with the set.
I absolutely adores this book!! Probably a better series than The Hunger Games or Divergent. I totally recommend this if you enjoyed The Hunger Games Or Divergent!
The gone series can be debated. The first 6 books all have real people on the covers. Book 7 & 8 are a “sequel series” but the publisher released all the original books in this new cover style. The gone series is much more popular now then it was when it had the original covers.

I totally enjoyed reading this book. It was sometimes really hard to believe in my opinion but I am curious to learn more about all this mysterious things in the next books.
The characters were easy to love (or to hate). My problem was that sometimes I could not imagine people so young reacting like that, but hard to say how you would react in such a situation.
I recommend this if you love post-apocalyptic YA! I will read the rest of the series.
Another popular series I have been wanting to read for ages.
Have you read it?

Definitely a good start to what I hope will be an excellent series! Onto book two!
A great dystopian read, that pulls you in right away. For my full review visit https://www.instagram.com/whatthebook__/p/BuFhC0knIST/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet....
Great concept: Suddenly, everyone 15 and over in Perdido Beach is gone and there‘s some sort of barrier around the town. But the execution isn‘t great. It drags in the middle, mixes in too many fantastical elements which don‘t necessarily make sense together, is overly violent at the end, and just made me want to put it down.
I actually stopped reading this book, and I only picked it back up because I was waiting on a shipment of books. It‘s an interesting concept, but it was missing action until the end.
And now this is going back to the library. I didn‘t end up finishing it. It is now Gone from my tbr stack. Please excuse my lame #bookishpun 😂
When the book is kind of meh but you still want to know how it ends
Library books I‘m gonna try. I will probably gone first, since it‘s due the soonest📚❤️
This book was just a bit much for me. I liked the premise and I the characters. It just went way out there on the wackiness with the talking coyotes and the “Darkness.”
I loved this book. It starts right in the middle of the action and there is never a dull moment. The characters are all believable and it‘s extremely compelling. I recommend this to everyone who says they don‘t enjoy reading because I really think this can hook even the people who say they don‘t enjoy reading.
Really enjoying this series. Thought I would post these as my current read is going to take me a while!
HELP PLEAS! Is this more since fictiony or fantasy with the powers and stuff. And how much romance if any is there? HELP PLEASE!
Ok I was really hoping I wouldn‘t like this book because it‘s a 10 book series and the wait list is always long at my library but unfortunately IM HOOKED I NEED MORE
This was a first in the series deal on audible. It is a scary twist of Lord of the Flies and Stephen Kings Under the Dome. The narration leaves something to be desired he really does not capture kids voices very well.
I absolutely loved these books. Kept me enthralled and I couldn‘t wait to find out what was going to happen next. There are 6 or 7 books out, so if you want something to keep you going for a while these are definitely worth the read!
I've been meaning to read this book for years. I'm so glad that I finally did! I really liked the way the different characters interacted with each other, sometimes bringing out the best in each other and sometimes the worst. I'm excited to read the next book in the series!
I tried to read this book when it first came out but it was long and slow. It went in the DNF pile. But the kids I worked with ate it up. Monster (book 7 or 8) just came out and makes me want to try it again. As for the covers, I don't remember when it changed, around book 4 or 5 maybe? but I like the new style better. #coverlove #changesedition
GUYS! IF YOU HAVEN‘T READ GONE DO IT RIGHT NOW. In the book, everyone above the age of 15 disappears. Fun right? Well now the kids have to obtain social order and soon bullies rule over what they call the FAYZ. While they‘re trying to keep peace, animals and even children and experiencing mutations and getting weird powers. THIS BOOK IS THE BEST AND I️ COULDN‘T PUT IT DOWN!!
This has been on my TBR since forever. Finally gave it a go and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. Teen X-men on the loose!
I did not like the audiobook though, ended up reading the book instead.
Exciting when not bogged down by excessive details about random mundane things. The audiobook was not pleasurable. The guy couldn't do girl voices well at all and the "he said" "she said" in between his voices was enormously annoying. Part of the reason it took me so long to finish this! Whenever I get to the next book, definitely not audio!
It is a so-so just because the first half of it was kinda slow BUT I am eager to know what happens next! 👀 The next 2 books are on their way through Thrift Books!
So... what happens is that everyone 15 & up suddenly disappear from this small town. These kids are trapped, new rules are established, gangs are formed and it becomes really scary when a few of them start showing powers!
This book kind of reminded me of Lord Of The Flies! 4/5⭐️
How did I forget yesterday was Thursday. That means new FREE audiobooks from www.AudiobookSNYC.com. This week has some good picks. Check it out.
I finished the whole series not too long ago. Absolutely loved it! It was great. Still have terrifying pictures of stuff I had imagined in my head.
Just started this book and I have this great feeling that I am going to learn a lot about this little guys.

Have anyone read the series already? 🙋🏽
I really liked this book. Read it years ago. It's $1.99 right now. Snatch it up!
#bookishpetpeeves #marchintoreading I hate getting to the middle of a book and finding pages missing or defaced. When I bought this used book I missed the problem. Fortunately I hadn't started it when I discovered the missing fragment. But now the dilemma: what to do with it ? If I donate it someone else gets the missing text peeve 😞
#ReadJanuary #Day11 #DNF I started reading this when I was a new mom and I really struggled with the idea of everyone over the age of 16 disappearing. I couldn't handle thinking about something like that happening to my son (I know the book is fiction, but when you're a new mom reason tends to go out the window). I plan to pick it up again eventually, but for now it waits.
i didnt finish this book so i want to start again with it and read the whole series
Absolutely loving this series. 📚I have read book 1 before but never continued with the series so this time I'm starting again with the intention of continuing. All adults above 15 years old disappear and the children are left cut off from the outside world 🌍 by a wall. This is a story of survival with twists, strange happenings and unexplained events throughout.
#onewordtitles #photoadaynov16 of these, I've only read Erased, And It. Gone, Hunger, and Plague are my daughter's. I promised her I'd buy her the whole set if she helped me clean the garage. She helped. I have yet to buy the books for her 😂 I'm too busy buying my own! Erased was written by one of my good friends, and is self published.
Because I got great suggestions of where to start last time- here's what's on my Kindle (part 1) what did y'all think of these? What should I start? What should I avoid?
Der|Die offensichtliche|n Gegenspieler sind stellenweise arg eindimensional, aber das gehört wohl zum großen Plan, immerhin hat die Reihe inzwischen 6 Bände.
