I enjoyed this, second in the series, quick read. It reveals lots of POVs and covers one festive (and messy) weekend in December.

Well, I needed to continue once I realised it was a series but it pretty much confirmed how I felt about Mitzy and especially Ava. This one went quick but also felt like it didn't need to be that long because really it didn't seem like much happened. Oh, Nora Vale is an annoying character as well but Kevin's lack of agency around her is far more aggravating.
She sneaks out behind the hotel and lights a cigarette. #FirstLineFridays
I read Winter Street two years ago, and loved it. Meant to read this last year but starting it today.
I enjoyed the first book in this series so much I immediately downloaded the second - and it‘s great for lots of word search points! I know I‘m missing at least half of them! #wintergames2024 #xmaschacha @StayCurious
Book 2 of Quinn family drama is done! I‘m amazed how fast I speed through these audiobooks every December. I never get tired of them. I love the entire nutty dysfunctional family and I wish the Winter Street Inn was a real place I could visit. 5⭐️ 80 points.

I like this series - but why do they all end on cliffhangers?!?!
12-22-23: My 102nd finished book of 2023! Winter Stroll is book 2 in the Winter Street series. It takes place in early December in Nantucket during the Winter Stroll weekend. We are with the Quinn family once more. There is a new addition, and everyone is getting ready for her baptism. There are a lot of real life situations occurring in this novel. It is more dramatic than book 1 and leaves us on a cliffhanger. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️📖#️⃣1️⃣0️⃣2️⃣
WINTER STROLL by Elin Hilderbrand, is full of drama and everyday struggles. The Quinns are good people, dealing with grief, betrayals, old loves, new loves, and addiction. It‘s a good second book in the WINTER series, a heartwarming read for the holiday season.
This novel will suck you in with its realness… not just at the holidays but everyday of the year! Love how relatable this series is!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This series is addictive! It‘s a story you want to zip through and has characters you want to root for. It‘s a great winter vacation read. My last book of 2022!
My first holiday read, done and dusted. More to come. #tistheseason #merrymerry #seasonsreadings
The drama in this story keeps you invested. But, it‘s not just because it is drama, it‘s relatable. It is real life scenarios that happen to people every day. So whether you relate or just understand, it adds to the story. I just needed to know, so the drama whisked me away at a fast pace.
My holiday reading plans. Hope to get to them all plus A Christmas Carol plus some non-holiday selections. #tistheseason #TBR
I immediately followed the first in this series (Winter Street) with this one. These are so much fun for me. The Quinn family is even more disorganized and dysfunctional in this installment than in the first one, and that‘s why I love them so much. Jennifer‘s story is my favorite in this book; she develops a pill problem after her husband goes to jail for insider trading. The author gives levity to several otherwise heavy situations = I love it.
Book 2 in the Winter Street series is a wrap and I‘m already halfway through book 3 😬. This series is very addictive. The Quinn family drama along with the beautiful setting of Nantucket Island mixed with Christmas makes this a must-read for me every December. I‘d recommend the audiobooks as these are fairly quick reads. 4.5⭐️

Some of my thrift finds from today!
A perfect seasonal read🎄❤️
Not 100% certain on the name of this game but I am HIGHLY addicted!!😂
A nice little palate cleanser that I never finished in 2020, although a few of the characters are starting to get on my nerves. And I feel like there are so many plot lines amongst the various Quinn‘s, that a lot of threads get left dangling without much attention.
Between the candle and the mug, I have a hot cocoa vibe going on!

It‘s raining, not snowing here, but it‘s still the perfect kind of afternoon to cuddle under blankets with a cozy book.
I needed something light to get my mind off the events of the week, which effected me more than I thought it would. Probably because I have family members that are toeing the line of actually supporting what happened in DC this week. And it hurts, a lot.
2nd book in this series. The family drama continues where author mix sad moments with funny scenes like one particular scene when they were in Bart‘s room praying, yep, the room smells like Bart. The author was kind to share a sad moment in her personal life. 3.6/3.7⭐️If you like hallmark movies or if you had read this author before you have an idea how these dramas are. Ready for 3rd book👍
This was a fun “read“ on the way home today. I now need to get my hands on book 3.

Easy and fun holiday read. This is the second book the Winter series and continues the saga of the Quinn family. There is a lot of drama (a la Elin Hilderbrand) as we learn more about this family. This addition to the series takes place mostly during Winter Stroll weekend in Nantucket. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
First goal complete for the #dashingdecember Readathon!
Okay this is exactly the slump busting anxiety reducing series I need right now. Perfect for getting me in the holiday spirit even though this will be my first Christmas without family in my entire 29 years of life.
I loved this continuation of the first book just as much. I liked the turns that the story took and the flaws and problems in “normal” relationships. Can‘t wait to start the third book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Really, this was kind of cheesy and not as strong as the first book in the series (Winter Street)...and yet I devoured it and have already started on the third book (Winter Storms).
Finished #2 in the #winterseries by Elin Hilderbrand and enjoyed it! Loving the easy and fun holiday reading. 🎄❄️💚❤️
Over the course of the summer, I unsequentially thrifted or LFL‘d all 4 books in this series. I‘m glad I read the first two back to back because Book 1 was mostly introducing all the characters making up the expanded Quinn family. Book 2 got into specifics and I‘m excited to keep reading about them. I sure hope Ava makes peace with her jealous tendencies.

OMG. The twist and turns....the suspense of what will happen next has me hooked.
I love how this was just as juicy, drama-filled, and engaging as the first! I wish I had discovered this series during the actual holiday season, but am enjoying them nonetheless given that true distractions are in short supply these days ☃️
I finally finished my last #HolidayRead for the year on audiobook, and my last book for the year. I met my readathon goals and finished everything on my currently reading shelf on Goodreads. I clocked in right at 33 hours. Not too shabby! I hope everyone has an awesome New Year! 🥳

Well, now I have to read the next one! I‘m really liking this series. An idyllic Christmasy setting and a cast of interestingly flawed characters makes this a fun holiday read. 🎄🎄🎄
This is how the hubs and I spent our day. Nothing quite like relaxing and reading the day after Christmas. 😊❤️📚🎄 @TheWhiteHatter
@4thhouseontheleft thank you so much for doing this!! I didn't realize how much I looked forward to #friyayintro @ howjessreads thanks for all the fun!
1. The Beautiful Ones I bought it, I look at it every day and haven't READ it.
2. Write Christmas cards!
3. Macaroons my mom used to make
4. On Tuesday my daughter had her healthy pregnancy confirmed! Baby coming 7/18/20ish!

@Jerdencon Thanks for the tag. You are absolutely one of my very favorites!
To be honest I didn't even know how to see litfluence until this post. So many littens have been so kind, you all make this such a fun place to visit. @Eggs @DaveGreen7777 @howjessreads @JoScho @hes7 thank you for the kind words and fun!
Favorite childhood book? Just one? One of the very first I remember is Caps for Sale.

Happy birthday @LibrarianRyan !
I really love Elin Hilderbrand‘s books....they are so easy to sink into, relatable characters, a sunny pleasant place to visit. I can‘t wait to get my hands on the third in this series.
100% sucked in to the Quinn family. Glad that I have all 4 books here so I can just keep going. On to Winter Storms!!
This second book did not disappoint! I am loving the Quinn family and all of their problems! Again this left in a cliffhanger, so even though the holidays are technically coming to an end, I will probably have to finish this series.
I‘ve enjoyed these short books about Nantucket at Christmas. Discovered this author just this year and have enjoyed all of her books. Makes me want to visit Nantucket next time I‘m back in MA.
For the majority of this reread, I didn‘t like it as much as I liked the first book (Winter Street). Most of the characters are just SO MUCH DRAMA* and one or two have behavior that really irritates me.
But then the last quarter of the story happens and with it come ALL THE EMOTIONS. Then I forget that I feel only the biggest book love, shouted from the highest of rooftops for this series.
*the Quinn Family DRAMA is what I love most 😉
With this book, I hit my Goodreads goal of 200. I liked it enough to give it a pick because the stories of the Quinn family members keep me interested and engaged — except for Ava‘s; her jealousy is just stupid. If Hilderbrand gave this character an incurable disease, I would not be upset. That said, I probably will read the other books, but I‘ll be tempted to skip over Ava‘s sections.
Up next for holiday reading. I‘ve read the first one in the trilogy — Winter Street — and liked it well enough. When I was Christmas shopping today, I found this for $7.97, so I thought it would be good Christmas beach reading.
Perfect Christmas read in front of the Christmas tree. So glad I don‘t have to wait an entire year to read the rest in the series
Book 2 of the Quinn family drama is good, but not quite as good as the first. It ends on another cliffhanger, so I‘m grateful I don‘t have to wait an entire year for the next book to come out. On to book 3! 4⭐️
