I enjoyed this, second in the series, quick read. It reveals lots of POVs and covers one festive (and messy) weekend in December.

Mehso-so

Well, I needed to continue once I realised it was a series but it pretty much confirmed how I felt about Mitzy and especially Ava. This one went quick but also felt like it didn't need to be that long because really it didn't seem like much happened. Oh, Nora Vale is an annoying character as well but Kevin's lack of agency around her is far more aggravating.

Might be my first EH and it is a little standard-romance-y but I still blew threw it and enjoyed it. My least fave characters are Mitzy (sp? I listen to audio) and Ava to be sure. Ava is top least fave, her dilemma is quite possibly the most trite and the way the narrator has her say “mommy“ smacks of being 6yo. It's weird.

CogsOfEncouragement I loved this one. Reading Winter Stroll now 🎅🏼 2w
Andrea4 @CogsOfEncouragement let me know what you think! I liked it less than the first but it was still enjoyable! I think I'll continue the series. 2w
CogsOfEncouragement Whew! What a messy weekend for the Quinns. It makes my life seem positively perfect. I‘ll continue with the series. 2w

A soft pick for these two loosely-connected stories that take place on Nantucket a year apart. These were super Hallmarky and perfectly pleasant. I enjoyed the first more than the second, because the mom in the second story drove me kind of crazy. But the greatest tragedy is that I was 160 pages in and all of the sudden the book skipped to page 216!! Right at the big finale of chaos (you know, where the kid ran away with the puppy and supper is ⬇

TheAromaofBooks (cont'd) getting ready to burn and the baby is coming early and someone's ex showed up unexpectedly... the usual Christmas stuff 😂) SO I caved and purchased this book for a SECOND time except in Kindle version! All in all I was missing about 40 pages, which is a lot when the story is only 195pgs long. But it all worked out because then I was able to search the Kindle version for word search words and found 674!!!!!

So yeah, not groundbreaking ⬇

She sneaks out behind the hotel and lights a cigarette. #FirstLineFridays

I read Winter Street two years ago, and loved it. Meant to read this last year but starting it today.

Book 4 in the Quinn family saga is done. I love all of the books but this is my least favorite if I had to pick one. Mainly because it‘s over but also it ends on a sad note. Still, it comes to feel like these are real people you could go & visit on Nantucket. I‘d highly recommend this series! 5⭐️

I enjoyed the first book in this series so much I immediately downloaded the second - and it‘s great for lots of word search points! I know I‘m missing at least half of them! #wintergames2024 #xmaschacha @StayCurious

JenlovesJT47 My favorite Christmas series ❤️ 3w
StayCurious is it on audio? It is so hard to get word search points when listening 3w
Jerdencon @StayCurious no - reading it on my tablet and keeping a piece of paper next to me and trying to tally but I know I‘m missing a few when I get engrossed in the story. (edited) 3w

EH books are so easy to read. I devoured this on a snow day and I feel warm and fuzzy now
