so-soI‘m a fan of Harry Potter‘s wizarding world, but this book is different. It‘s a screenplay for one. Also it‘s set earlier than the HP books, in America, with different bad guys. It was ok, short, a lot of action. I‘ll che k out the next one to see if this introduction to characters & storyline gets better.

pickI love the wizarding world, and I really enjoyed the Fantastic Beasts movies, so I really wanted to read the screenplay since I've read the HP books. It was enjoyable, and though screenplays aren't often something I enjoy, I actually liked reading this one. It was exactly the same as the movie (as it's the screenplay) so I followed it easier since I remember the movie well.
*Just a note that I do not like the author, jusy the wizarding world*

pickIt is a screenplay so it is structured differently so keep that in mind. I really enjoyed it, it is a completely different wizarding world than HP but it's really good! Can't wait to see the movie!

pickThere was a lot of little moments that I missed during the movie. I probably wouldn't have noticed them if I hadn't read this screenplay.
Even though it was a screenplay, it was still written like a Harry Potter story. It still had that easy to read flow that pulls you into the story and keeps you captivated until the very end.
Another great quote from J. K. Rowling. There is a lot of truth to it.

pickOkay, I loved it, but... What was that ENDING?? All of my favorite characters got the short of the stick in this one. 😬 4 stars.

pickDefinitely a heart warming story. I want to watch the movie now. This is the first book where I actually wanted to cry when Jacob had to step out in the rain, but even if he can‘t remember everything completely, I‘m glad he remembers a little bit and sees Queenie in the end. For those who want to imagine the story instead of watch it, I definitely recommend this book.

I love the word of Harry Potter and this is a great addition. I read the book “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” that Jo wrote back in 2001 for charity. When I found out it was going to be a movie, I was so excited. The story is great, with a bunch of twists and turns.

Two new books for my J.K.Rowling collection. I can't really call it a Harry Potter collection any more I suppose. I don't have them all in hardcover. Just the ones that came out after we had started reading them. I've always liked the feel of paperbacks over hardcovers. I can't deny how pretty these are though.

I was out and about shopping for some of you wonderful Littens today but I got a little selfish... if you haven't been to your local Target, RUN over there bc this guy was on clearance. He was only $20 instead of the $30-40 he was originally. I know that's still a steep price, but I wanted him since I found out about him... so I splurged 🙈🙉🙊 He's the Special Edition figure that sits a foot tall. He's so cute!!! 😍😍😍

pickI haven't seen the second movie yet so I wanted to read the books first. The screenplay sometimes in my opinion was confused and not well integrated. However, this is a screenplay so is the director who is going to put magic in the way he/she integrates the scenes, words becomes alive through technology! I think it was ok 3.4 ⭐️in the way it was written, for me as a common reader. I will see this first movie again. Book stays with me, so pretty😍
