#WinterGames The Boyfriend and I watched this for the first time since it's the #CandyCaneCrushers team movie. I've only ever seen the original cartoon. I'm not sure anything will be able to beat my childhood favorite, but this one is a close second. We'll definitely be watching it again next year!

Snuggled up with April and watching the cartoon How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The college I work at decided to close tomorrow because of the storm (it‘s definitely snowing!), so my winter break begins a day early! An extra day to sleep, snuggle, and read sounds like a good gift to me 💤 🐈‍⬛ 📚

1. As a child we always went to see my Great Grandmother in late afternoon and Santa always came when we were gone. We always got new PJ‘s that we could open right away and then we had to wait until after dinner to open the rest. Now as an adult we all spend time at my sister‘s/Mom‘s and play games and the grandkids open gifts.

2. Meal changes all the time..this year it‘s lasagna on Christmas Eve and turkey dinner on Christmas Day!

1. My immediate family (bro‘s fam, parents, man cub and me) do our Christmas stuff. We‘ve done that since I was young because we usually had to travel to my grandparent‘s house across state and instead of bringing all the gifts there and then back we just did stuff before we left (mom usually had to work at least part of the day if it fell during the work week).

My all time favorite Dr. Suess book. I love the overall message in the book! It makes it great for kids and is a classic traditional story!
