Epistolary is my favorite! Have you read Last Christmas in Paris? If not, read 👏🏻 it 👏🏻 now 👏🏻! It does not have to be read at Christmas ❤️
LOOK AT ALL THESE GOODIES!!! Disclaimer: @Chasing-Pages did not send me a cat. She was preowned 🤣🤣 I‘m dying over all the extras: chocolates, hot cocoa, pens, stickies, wax melts, and WINE! BEYOND spoiled 🎄📚🍷🕯
@Chasing-Pages YOU OUTDID YOURSELF! Guys, my brain literally cannot process all of this! I can‘t even handle how much love and thought was put into the wrapping let alone what‘s underneath! I‘ll have to do a few posts because the love is almost endless. Kayli, from the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU 🎄💕 #secretsantagoespostal
So my #halloweengoespostal buddy forgot to send me a note, so she sent me a note and a book! Juli you are too much! I‘m so excited about this. I‘ve been wanting to read Rainbow Rowell, so this will be the perfect introduction. Thank you 💚
@A_planNerd STOP IT with the cuteness!! 😭😭 you guys, this girl went above and beyond to find THE most personal bookmarks and I can‘t handle how beautiful they each are. THANK YOU SO MUCH 💕💕 #bookmarkexchange
Can we all agree that my #secretsantagoespostal partner went overboard?! This box is a BEAST! Feeling so spoiled 🎄🎄🎄
Eep! Thank you @Betty SO much for these amazing choices for the #geekygraphicnovelswap! I‘m in LOVE! I‘m seriously so excited for the Ms. Marvel Pop Funko ❤️❤️❤️ thank you for the sweet, thoughtful gifts. Can‘t wait to check out My Favorite Thing is Mosters!
Eek! It‘s here!! #geekygraphicnovelswap! I can‘t wait to open it @Betty ❤️❤️❤️ What‘s opening day?! The 15th?
Yay!! My first #bookmarkexchange got here from @Leigh0906 Thank you so much for the fun, magnetic bookmarks 💕📚
Upside to a sick day is catching up on some reading! I‘ve read and am ready for the #BOTMbuddyread discussion this weekend!
Hey Litsy! My bookworm husband just joined! You can find him at @Talkdewey2me ...yup. You read that right 🤦🏼♀️🤣 This picture was taken on our first anniversary last year 🎈
Can you tell the theme I went with for #secretsantagoespostal? ❄️ Sent out that box, plus #geekygraphicnovelswap and #bookmarkexchange. Phew. ❤️💌📬 So much book love in the mail today!
I love reading books that give me a different perspective 👌🏻
You better believe that if you‘re my match for any swap I‘m doing, it‘ll most likely be wrapped in this. Yay for dollar tree finds!! ❤️🌹📚 #santagoespostal #geekygraphicnovelswap
Excellent read. Especially for those of you who loved The Hate U Give. Dear Martin explores similar themes and events and has a unique format of alternating between 3rd person narrative and 1st person letters the main character writes to MLK. 👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️
The Diverse Books Club (on insta and Goodreads) theme this month is differing abilities. The YA pick is Love and First Sight. I‘m loving it so far! Have you read it? What other picks do you love with characters of differing abilities?
🛁 bath bombs
💄 I like it all (eos, NYX)
👩🏼 LOVE face masks
💅🏻 I never paint my nails myself
🕶 I don‘t accessorize much more than my Alex and Ani bracelets. Although I do love a good graphic tee!
Are you on Instagram or Goodreads and want to read more diverse literature?! Join the Diverse Books Club! 3. Fangirl 💕💬 by Rainbow Rowell

5. How Dare the Sun Rise ☀️
#mostwantedtopfive
I solemnly swear not to buy these until after Christmas 👌🏻
1. I love rose gold and turquoise. Or anything watercolor 🎨
2. Disney, cactus, traveling, snowboarding, Harry Potter (💙)
3. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
4. YA, middle grade (I teach middle school), memoirs
5. Coffee and tea (weird I know...)
6. I love audiobook coloring 🖍
7. My Goodreads and Litsy TBR lists are all books I do not own
I had a hard time getting into this, but I was expecting something different. I was expecting a fast paced YA story that I would devour. Once I realized the author‘s intent was more to give history and to honor a heroic life, I settled right in 💙 This definitely reads more like non-fiction.
📚 both (like new or gently used is preferred for used!)
📚 both! I do love a good series!
🍫 hot chocolate
🕯 wax cubes
🎨 bright colors
🧣 blanket
🗯 sure 🤷🏼♀️ I don‘t have any, but if it‘s a super fun bookish character, yea! #giftideasthisorthat
Because when there‘s a book swap, I can‘t resist 🤷🏼♀️📚 #geekygraphicnovelswap Head over to @JenlovesJT47 to sign up! Today is the last day!!
Hubby is out of town so it‘s #litsypartyofone for me!! 🎧🖍💜
Happy Halloween to me! Thank you @Juli for such thoughtful gifts. Everything is so perfectly tailored to me. I am especially in love with the 9 3/4 Book sleeve! ❤️📚❤️ #halloweengoespostal
Happy mail weekend! Got letters from both my Litsy Pen Pals AND the #halloweengoespostal book exchange!
Trick or Treat! These goodies are headed to the east coast tomorrow for #halloweengoespostal #fallbookexchange 👻🎃💜
This may be YA, but it deserves to be on EVERY reader‘s list. Hutton weaves together the true story of one boy‘s experience as an abductee forced into The Lord‘s Resistance Army (LRA) in Uganda and a fictitious, yet realistic, account of a boy who escapes. Told in alternating perspectives, each chapter will have you eager for more. GO GET THIS!!
Well that was absolutely heartbreaking. 💔 Excellent read, but holy trigger warning. Having just lost a friend to cancer this week, I had a hard time making it through this without sobbing. 😭
HELP! How do you manage your TBR list?! I can't keep up!! This is such a tiny fraction of my pile 😳
This book surprised me! It is such a sweet middle grade novel about finding your place in middle school (blech, am I right?). I loved the main character Emily and was really able to empathize with her story 💕🦄🌈
I am simply blown away by the support I have received from my family, friends, and fellow Littens. SO many wonderful people are supporting my cause of getting diverse literature into the hands of my middle school students (http://a.co/7mwodeS). Today I got a package from @emmanoble and I couldn't be more grateful. 📚💕
I'm so frustrated by this book. I didn't love it, but it ended on a cliffhanger! 😫 Why?!! Anyone else read this series? Is it worth continuing?
@EllieDottie picked some AMAZING things for me!! Every time I opened something new, I got so excited! It felt like Christmas! I'm so beyond excited about the literary candle. She also sent me a dish from Rhode Island. OH! And the Phoebe Robinson book is signed! 📚💕 THANK YOU ELLIE! #bibliophilebookexchange
It's BOOK EXCHANGE day!! So excited!!! #bibliophilebookexchange
Not only did I get my #bibliophilebookexchange package today from @EllieDottie ... I also got a surprise package from her as well supporting my classroom from my Amazon Wish List (http://a.co/7mwodeS) ❤️📚❤️ Feeling so very loved. Thanks girl!!!
@EllieDottie this box of goodies is on its way to you!! Should be there by the 16th! 📚💕💌📬
Recent events have really brought to light the need for diverse books in the classroom. I feel it is my responsibility to teach love, empathy, equality, and tolerance. Because of this, I've researched books to add to my classroom and can't wait to get them into the hands of children. You can help by donating a book @ http://a.co/7mwodeS ❤️🤝📚
School starts tomorrow! So excited for my new bunch to see our classroom library 📚💕 #teachersoflitsy
The cover of all covers 💙🌟💜 I just LOVED this book. I could not stop reading it. I stayed up until midnight devouring it because I had to know what would happen next. If you liked the family tradition aspect of When Dimple Met Rishi, you will like this. Warning though: your heart will ache for Naila. Thank you again @Bookzombie for this read!
Whelp, I didn't even come close to 24 hours, but I had a great, relaxing weekend!! I read 2 middle grade graphic novels, 2 books in the March series, finished Alex and Eliza, nearly finished When Dimple Met Rishi, and read about 1/3 of Written in the Stars! I would call that a success 📚🎧💪🏻 #24in48
What every #readathon needs...audiobooks! I also thought this shirt was perfect for the occasion 💕📖🎧 #24in48 #bookishgear
It's kinda of a funny story...
A thousand naked strangers:
The Martian
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
The Undomesticated Goddess
The Lucky One
#spinepoetry #24in48
I loved this book for the honesty it brings up about girl friendships in elementary school (blech, right?). But for some reason, the pacing or the organization of the story just didn't do it for me. #24in48
