First book of the year 😫 been in a major Netflix/too busy for anything that requires concentration funk for weeksssss. Hoping this launches me out of that. Any recommendations for what should be on deck?

4 hours left and I'm still bored... what is going on?
ohhh my. new favorite. so amazing. highly recommend the audiobook 😍
Lately I've been listening to celebrity memoirs while I'm at work 1. I don't care if I'm not fully paying attention 2. They're usually pretty funny... I'd love some recommendations of your favorites!!!! 😊
Is anyone else listening to this on A U D I O and thinking of bailing? I'm having a hard time following... mostly just concerned I'm missing key info! Thoughts?!
Only OK. Some of the cheesiest thriller descriptions I've read in awhile. The main character C O N S T A N T L Y "gets the feeling she's being watched" or "has the feeling that she shouldn't be here" which is very annoying. The plot wasn't predictable to me as it was in All The Missing Girls... but still not my favorite.
Decided to pick this up after reading This Is Where I Leave You.... and I have to say, this one was not my favorite. I didn't like Silver's character and not just because he is "unlikeable". The whole concept of this story was exhausting. But there is no denying Jonathan Trooper is an amazing writer!
🎧Currently: One Last Thing Before I Go 📗What's next?
Jonathan Trooper is amazing but the narrators voice is bothering me for some reason... so far so good! Chapter 29/81

Huge Gilmore Girls fan so this was a fun one!
Equally heartbreaking and inspiring. Paul's words beautiful capture indescribable feelings about the meaning of life in a way that is so crushing and relatable. His words about his wife, daughter, and family had me close to tears! It was a quick but emotional read.
🎧I'm torn between so-so and pick on this one. I listened to the audio and enjoyed hearing Lena narrate her stories. I'm a fan of her podcast (Women of the Hour), HBO's Girls, and Lena herself. But this just didn't do it for me. I don't regret listening but wouldn't recommend it to just anyone...
❤❤❤❤❤ IN L O V E ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I listened on audio, narrated by Rupi Kaur - even more amazing!
Wow wow wow! Wavy's story and character is unique. I loved the way the narrative flowed from different perspectives. Getting inside wavy's head versus the 1-2 word responses she gave to others was interesting and made me feel much more connected to each character. I highly recommend this one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🎧 Quick and entertaining, this is exactly what you'd expect from a celeb memoir. And what's better? Anna Kendrick narrated it!
Well this is depressing... my library desperately needs a better audiobook section 😭👎🏼💔
🎧Loving this audio so far but I do wish it was a female narrator... did anyone else feel like this? 📙
Thank you Audible for a 🙌🏼 deal of the day! Gay is amazing! I was not a huge fan of hearing her book reviews (however I am interested in her opinions and recommendations) - I just felt that I would have rather read that in a blog vs her essays. I wanted to hear more personal stories and her opinions. Nonetheless, I thought it was great! On a side note: did anyone else listen to The Help on audio (same narrator, Bahni Turpin) & laugh when she...
Preach 💪🏼🙌🏼
Not my cup 'o tea. The characters were original and unique (loved the count and Sofia), the writing was amazing (for some parts) but the story was a pan.... I was bored, there was minimal plot, and I listened to it on audio. Was this my mistake? I get mixed responses to that. Either way, this is a unique read. I understand why some of you loved it. Unfortunately, it's not for me! On to the next one....
I give this one a solid GOOD! I wasn't blown away but I did listen to it in 2 days (at work and during every spare moment I had) so that says something. Very well researched and very emotional. Kristin Hannah is amazing!!!
LITSY - what should I listen to next? Looking for recommendations... what is the best audiobook you've ever listened to? Mine are:
So excited but also afraid (in the best way) 🙊🙉🙈
All the stars and all the likes, Amy Tan is fantastic! This is a quick but dense read. Each character is unique and the relationships between these mothers and their daughters are dynamic. I have little to nothing in common with these characters but somehow found them relatable.
Digging into this one... I can't believe it's taken me so long to start! So far I love it...
Just started this on audio!!! Did anyone listen? What did you think?
I have had to become less picky with my audiobooks because I've maxed out my holds at the library. I stumbled across this in the "available now" section and recognized it from #BOTM so I decided to give it a shot. It was enjoyable but nothing special. The short chapters annoyed me on audio for some reason. I NEED HELP: What are some amazing audiobooks? I need something amazing after a few so-so's ?
I keep getting distracted by other items on my #TBR pile but I need to buckle down! I'm half way through The Vegetarian and I'm thinking about bailing... should I hold out? Part of me can't put it down but at the same time I'm feeling frustrated and like I'm going in circles ➿➿➿
I loved this book! I listened to it on audiobook and the narrator does an amazing job, lots of unique voices and accents ❤❤❤
It was good but not great. I didn't connect with any of the characters and didn't find the family dynamics relatable. Love this cover tho!
Listening on audio and about half way through. I am enjoying the story but not hooked on it. I could stop now and not really care... what did you all think? Was this a better read than audiobook?
MEH! I wasn't shocked by the twist but I wasn't bored either. I wouldn't recommend it. #audiobook
Disclaimer: I listened to this on audio. And I didn't love it. I enjoyed the story but not the journey reading it. There was a lot of beauty in the wording and plot but it just didn't do it for me.
#LitsyAtoZ so excited to dig into everything on my list... what's next?...
Sunday calls for baking, wine, and a good book #AlmostChristmas
When you need to go to sleep but can't stop reading 🙃
Having a hard time getting into this one.... has anyone else listened to the audiobook?
Historically, (pun intended) I've shied away from historical novels. I would really only read fantasy and futuristic dystopian lit and I especially loved dystopian YA. This year (since quitting an awful life sucking job) I've been reading a much wider selection. I just finished The Nightingale and am starting All the Light we Cannot See. I am already looking for more WWII fiction or nonfiction. PLEASE RECOMMEND! #LITSY #WWII #HISTORICALFICTION
I was a huge fan of the movie and an even bigger fan of the book. I couldn't help but imagine the characters as their celebrity film counterparts and it made the book that much more enjoyable for me. Tropper's witty crude humor had me cracking up the whole way through. Even though the Foxman's are a crazy bunch, their antics have me excited for my next family gathering. #twothumbsup #tueadayreads #whatnext
