Just got this galley...yay! I loved CHILDREN OF THE NEW WORLD, and couldn‘t be more excited for this!
Just got this galley...yay! I loved CHILDREN OF THE NEW WORLD, and couldn‘t be more excited for this!
This was weird in all the best ways and I just loved it! It‘s like The Magicians meets Jessica Jones...🔥🧙♀️🕵️♀️
This was AMAZING...it‘s heartbreaking and thoughtful and anxiety-inducing and smart and just WOW. I just finished it and I‘m still reeling...😍
I loved this book! It‘s weird and dark and nothing really happens, but I devoured it. ❤️
This was definitely way too spicy for me! I loved the drama with the main characters but found myself skipping past the steamy scenes 😳.
I think I‘m going to break up with #botm when my credits run out. My box STILL hasn‘t shipped, and I confirmed it on the 31st. 😡 (Image is from Google)
Hooray for early #botm!!!🎉🎉🎉
An excellent listen from #hoopla! This is a twisty domestic thriller with a bookish slant, and I‘m hooked!
This started out so strong for me. However, I found “Especially Heinous” too long and strange, and I never regained my momentum and enthusiasm for this collection. I wish I hadn‘t read it straight through, and had skipped around, saving that one for last. 😕
So, last night I had tickets to see Stephen and Owen King for their book tour of Sleeping Beauties. I had totally lucked out and got third row tickets and was ecstatic. After the event, everyone got a free book and we were told a few would be signed as a surprise. I GOT ONE!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
This kind of stuff never happens, and I'm still super excited. It was like winning the lottery, but with books! 😎📚
I am so glad my kids went back to school today and I could spend the entire day lost in this wonderful book! It's definitely one of my favorites of the year and is far and away my favorite selection from #botm.
This was an excellent beach read that I devoured over a long weekend, and an excellent twisty psychological thriller that kept me guessing right until the end! The comparisons to The Girl On the Train will be inevitable, but I actually liked this one much better!
I gave up on this one around 20%. It's really good, but I read this right on the heels of FINAL GIRLS and it's too much horrific crime for me. I'll definitely pick it back up again though. The premise was really gripping...just not the right book for my mood. 😕
I have wanted to read this forever!! Woot woot!! 🎉🎉🎉
Yay! Got this lovely little stack from the library book sale!! 😍
I am going to hear Stephen King speak in September! I've read The Shining and Carrie years ago, and these are the two books of his I own (but haven't read). Are there any other "must reads" of his I should tackle before September?
A 300 page wordless graphic novel about a park bench sounds like it could totally be a snore. But, this was wonderful! You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll never look at a park bench the same way again.
Yay for book mail!! I ordered myself an early birthday present!! 😊📚#bookhaul
So, this happened today...WOO HOO!!!!🙀😍I've been dying to get my hands on this ever since I finished the first one!
My BOTM is in West Virginia?!?!? But I'm in New York!!! ☹️☹️😫😫😭😭#botm
Ok, I have a probably stupid question ?...what is the female narrator saying after she mentions each name in the audiobook? It sounds like "offset," or something. Do any of you guys know?
Uh, Target? Might wanna rethink this...😱🤣
I was so excited to see this on BOTM! And I seriously love the cover...😍#botm
Guys! If you have access to Hoopla, THIS IS ON IT!!! Squee!!!😍😍
(I'm a little excited...can you tell? 😜)
I loved this pick from last month's BOTM. As Lillian Boxfish walks through NYC on New Year's Eve, she recalls about the events that have shaped her life, and meets new people along her way and impacts theirs. It's a really charming read, and was perfect for curling up with a fuzzy blanket and a hot cup of tea. #botm
Not in the database, but not to be missed is NIGHTLIGHTS coming from Nobrow in March. It's both creepy and dreamy and one of the most beautifully Illustrated graphic novels I've seen this year. If you liked GHOSTS by Raina Telgemeier, you should definitely pick this up.
I've been racing through this book like a hot knife through butter (but have to keep putting it down due to ferrying kids about for early dismissals and delayed openings! 😫). I can't wait to see how this resolves itself. If this is an indicator of YA fiction this year, I'm all in for 2017.
Ok guys, I'm going to pre-order this today with my holiday gift cards. Should I get it as a physical book or an ebook? I'm torn, but was leaning towards the kindle version so I could easily look things up. Any recommendations on format?
The BOTM choices were awesome this month. It was a really hard decision to narrow it down! 😍📚👏 #botm
Thank you, thank, you, THANK YOU @Mimi28 ! What a wonderful box of fun surprises! I love Ruth Ware, and I'm positively over the moon with that amazing backpack. 😍🌜#SecretSantaGoesPostal #WinterSolsticeBookExchange
