Loving my new skull bones jacket by Hell Bunny 🖤🖤🖤
It‘s late but I‘ve made myself a blanket nest on the floor & I can‘t stop reading... What happens to the baby⁉️⁉️

Skipped my workout this morning and am waiting in the car while my daughter is in rehearsals. I‘m loaded with essentials but mostly feeling like I could take a nap and also trying to resist walking to Voodoo Doughnuts. 💤💤 #decisions???
Book Riot‘s 2019 Read Harder Challenge #3 - Read a Book by a Trans or non-binary author. I‘m finishing up Long Black Veil, a murder mystery/marital drama that has my eyes watering. This book is deeply layered, exploring gender, identity and the depths of loyalty. It also has me majorly missing my college friends. 😭📖 #readharderchallenge #bookriot #bookstagram #longblackveil
I‘m blown away.....and seeing spirals everywhere! #horrormanga
So funny I kept rereading passages! The standout for me was the thread between Catherine and Heathcliff. 😂😭😂
Only 16 days into the new year and I‘m predicting this will be the book I enjoy the most in 2019. 🤓#donnerpartyobsessed #bookstagram #theindifferentstarsabove
Book Riot 2019 Read Harder Challenge #2 Read a self published book #themartian
Reading in the car. I haven‘t been this haunted by a story in a while. Lacy Eye is a Lizzie Borden for the modern day, beautifully told and so eerie. #bookofthemonth #lacyeye #readingincars
I loved this book with all my ♥️ (and this delicious pumpkin meal replacement bar (that I ate with a meal)).
“I saw Goody Proctor with the devil!” 🌘 This cover was too gorgeous in its simplicity to pass up. #decoratewithbooks
Adored the cover but the story fell flat for me. 😕 Looks pretty on my shelf but not a re-read.
🤓Here‘s my top 10 out of 88 books read in 2018. (The Alienist should really be in this stack but I don‘t own a copy.) Yea for Book of the Month & Uppercase Box who keep the good ones coming to my front door all year! The top pick of my heart goes to We Sold Our Souls! 🖤 Velvety black lined pages, backward song lyrics etched into the front cover and a horror story played out on stage! Soooo good!!!!📚📚📚📚📚
Starting Book Riot‘s 2019 Read Harder challenge #1-Read a Book of Manga. Thank goodness my friend let me borrow one about a cat crazed couple. So cute and relatable! Who doesn‘t pine over the lonely cat adoption ads and romanticize about the lives they could have if you just brought them home???
Hooked on true crime at the moment and unable to put this one down. I‘ve dragged it along with me on all my Sunday errands.
Spent so much time doing these with my best friend in middle school. Picked this up in hopes that my daughter might find them as hysterically fun as I once did and SHE DID!!! There was lots of wild laughter as she and her best friend went through these. So happy they loved this!
Wishing for a Hole resurrection. I miss the old Courtney.
This true story is sooo creepy. Isolation has always been one of my greatest fears. I‘m convinced anything can happen in the dark, deep woods.
Love looking at old houses and imagining the past lives...what faces looked out these windows. This one is from the area I grew up in.
Taken from a Saturday night that really happened! Best novelization ever! Hysterical and some extra backstory- I highly recommend! 👻
Line up!
Today‘s brunch at Salty‘s on the Columbian...I wanted to ‘Augustus Gloop‘ the chocolate fountain. 🍫🍭🍬
Reading through my lunch hour. Found an old bookmark my elementary school teacher had given me. 💛
I find this entire trilogy of movies deliciously romantic and am finding the scripts to be just as delectable. So bittersweet to look back on those fierce connections we make early on, the friendships, the trust, the love...❤️
Helping my best friend with a photography project & I‘m immortalized as a chain smoking housewife. #profilepic #rollersallday #thisgirlprobablydoesn'tread
Pretty in pink! Gifted myself with this book (& new bookmark). Love reading about birthday parties that go horrifically wrong! 🎂🔪
Saw a preview for the tv show and thought “How in the world did I miss this novel?!?” Incredibly atmospheric, ghastly & grim with magnificent characters and a bit of humor. I‘m in love (and enjoying my pedicure)!
Love, love, love Fiona Barton. 'The Child' had me bursting into tears and this one kept me guessing all the way through. I love books that have me accusing every character because so many endings seem plausible. My first five star rating in the new year! ⭐️⭐️🌟⭐️⭐️
When you announce to your family that you are no longer buying books and you come home to an embarrassing amount of book mail that's given you away... 😳
Seeing RuPaul this week was every bit the incredible moment that I thought it would be! ??✨"If you can't love yourself, how in the HELL you gonna love somebody else!?!"❤️
Made a rare stop at the dollar store for party supplies and discovered a book aisle filled with treasures from my TBR list! Three bucks for these brand new buys! 🛍💛 YES!!!
Ginger - perched among my favorite volumes. 🌸
2017's reading challenge is so close to wrapping up! 17 books left & I'm happily carrying on. Wish I had more dedicated reading time....probably not the greatest time to try and squeeze in Stephen King's It. I have a feeling that one will carry into 2018.
When the hardcover and the paperback are both too cool that you have to buy both. Mega cover crushes! ❤️
One more indulgent beach memory and a call out to arguably one of the best books I read this year. Final Girls was like a really great slasher movie with a twist but in book form. An unquestionable re-read.
Throwback to a BOTM beach read that confused me with it's relentless twists and narration swapping. Good but be prepared to put in the organizational brain work.
"How to be a Happy Homebody" - a list I can really get on board with. ??
