In November, I read eight books. My favorite was Memorials. I didn't get to my #BookSpin book, but Devil In The White City was both #DoubleSpin and #ReadOrDonate. I really enjoyed it, so I will be keeping it 😺

I thought this book was fascinating. It tells the true story of the creation of the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago as well as the story of the serial killer H H Holmes and how he used the Fair to attract more victims.

I grew up in the 90s grunge era when this was set, so I couldn't wait to read this book. Five years ago, Elijah, the lead vocalist of the Lightning Bottles, drowned. He was the much loved member of the band, unlike his wife and partner Jane, who was also the last person to see him. There was a lot of mystery surrounding his death, and in Germany, a fan named Hen thinks she has found the ultimate clue 🖤

I got 16/100. It's not great but my tastes for this genre are different than theirs. I would like to suggest that for those who haven't read anything from Nesbo, you are missing out. The Redbreast is fantastic, and so is the rest of the Harry Hole series. And of course, The Shining and Silence of the Lambs are fantastic.
