My March #botm and #aardvark picks!!
I‘ve never read Stephen Graham Jones before, so I‘m going to try this one and hope it‘s not too scary!
This isn't the first time I've rooted for the serial killer, but it may be the first time I felt sorry for one. And for his best friend Amber, who is trying to help him through her knowledge of slasher movies. I especially loved how Jones described how Tolly saw and felt things when in slasher mode. So much better than the mask eyes in Halloween.
I have now become a huge fan of Jones and will be reading more of his books.
Two books outside my norm this month for my #aardvarkbookclub picks.
What did you all get?
This is good historical fiction with a bit of mystery set in Edinburgh during the era of body snatchers or resurrectionists.

Two #BodyPart covers from my #Aardvark books.
I‘ve not read the tagged book yet but A Sweet Sting of Salt was one of my favorite books last year.
👁️Sunglasses & sleep mask needed after reading this Stoker-award-nominated chiller about a Korean-American college student trapped between racist, chauvinistic men and her growing hunger for eyeballs. Unique, clever, scary read during my work trip to Hawaii. I am now afraid of eyeballs. 👁️ #horror #unique #clever #diversebooks
A few really good ones, a lot of good ones, and a few disappointments. I read all three of my February #aardvark choices in the month of February! 🎉🎉
⭐️⭐️💫
A quick read that held my attention and was moving at times, but the writing style wasn‘t my favorite. #Aardvark #AardvarkBookClub
