pickThis read of a Korean American student that is having issues with racist men and the desire to eat their eyeballs.
pickThis was a really cute fantasy romance with some spicy scenes. I loved the setting (I‘ve always been a fan of Scotland and the Loch Ness monster.) The backstory added depth and believability as well. I‘d be curious to see what fans of Ali Hazelwood‘s Bride think, because I think the monster sex scenes in this book are much better (IYKYK).

Love the cover... but for me, the book was just ok.
Another month, another full @AardvarkBookClub box! Their picks were so much better than BOTM (which I skipped) this month. So excited for all of these. I love that #aardvark doesn‘t shy away from darker books!

pickThis was a fun locked room mystery, I felt it got mired in “how to be a writer”; I know, I know that was that point. Just not my favorite thing. I‘ve been struggling to read as the flu moved through my family. Hope this kicks off a reading spree. #aardvark
