I'm trying everything to get myself out of the biggest reading slump.. I haven't finished a single book this year! I've started a few, but after a chapter or two I lose interest and abandon them..
This weekend I'm reading some comics and I'm coming back here on Litsy! 💟🤞🏻

Well, it had nothing to do with a Christmas slump that I fell into after Jan. 6th, it was purely a reading slump...a real struggle to stay in the story.

Therefore we spent the weekend watching fantasy and Christmas movies (including the TV broadcast of Beauty & The Beast).

It was a rechargeathon, which refuelled my love for all things fantasy and hopefulness.

Hitting the pause button on these two...

Just can't find that Christmas feeling right now, and it seems a shame to continue reading Christmas without feeling the magic of Christmas.

I will return to these reads when the season rolls around again, if not in July.

The season zoomed by way too swiftly, and the world seems too chaotic right now...I need fantasy (the year round kind of fantasy), and Riley Thorn right now.
