This is book two in a duology and it was better than book one. The angst and drama was over the top. This one made me cry. Loved the story and the characters tear at your heart, especially Nate. 5 ⭐

After reading the prequel, I had to know what happened between Rachel and Jake. Though the plot was unrealistic, I liked the characters, especially Mars, so I was able to get past that. I liked the idea of a found family and once all the secrets were out how everyone was on team Rachel. Total fluff and enjoyed every steamy moment.

Not nearly as good as the first two. The storyline wasn‘t too bad but the characters were kind of flat and there was no real build up to the end. It definitely wasn‘t thrilling and the ending fell flat. #SeriesLove2024 @TheSpineView

The new owner of the coffeeshop and the assistant mayor decide to fake date so the town will recognize that they are serious about putting down roots and will support their futures. Of course, real feelings become involved but I liked that both men were relatively open about it. Just another low angst happy ending in Christmas Falls

I've been using a random number generator to decide which of my holiday books I'll read next, and weirdly ended up reading Wrapped up FOR Christmas and Wrapped Up IN Christmas back to back 😂

Soft pick for this one; it's just a little too cutesy for me. Bodie was seriously injured on his last tour of duty and almost died. While recovering, he received a handmade quilt from the Quilts of Valor program, and that along with the letter that came ⬇

After reading A Kilt for Christmas (https://litsy.com/p/T21oU0JLb3p2) I had to come back for more Ghost Coos (sadly missing in this book) and a bunch of Fairy Godmothers disguised as a book club of elderly women calling themselves the Book Bitches and wearing Christmas sweaters with puns.

There's a magical bookshop and the woman who just inherited it, a socially awkward man in a kilt with a hurt puffin, and lots of puffin puns.
