I love this book. It's one of my favorite King books. It's the classic haunted hotel story. Family, who already has issues, moves inside a hotel to take care of it during It's off season and all hell brakes lose.
I would love a prequel with Grady and what happened with his family 🖤

Karkar What always surprises me about this one every time I read it is back when he wrote it school shootings were not a thing. But you would think from this book he wrote it today. 2mo

5feet.of.fury Yeah, that was nuts. I can see why he pulled it after Columbine (and the continued epidemic of school shootings) with the way Charlie is presented in the end/showing the impact on the hostages as positive. 2mo

5feet.of.fury @BarkingMadRead yeah, I‘m gonna hit up a couple of the used bookstores near me (on the off chance they don‘t know what they have, because wow those prices) but it‘s my backup plan. King has alot of my money 😂 I‘ll sleep ok this once haha 3mo

ImperfectCJ I know my mom has a copy of The Bachman Books, but she's 2000 miles away and not at all keen on splitting up her King collection, even temporarily. I'm probably skipping this one for now, although it would be interesting to read again with the context of a few decades. 3mo
