Read for #AuthorAMonth #DorothySayers this was my first experience with Lord Peter Wimsey & first Sayers book. I listened to this one on audio & mostly in the car running errands & found it entertaining overall, more impressive that it was her first novel. It‘s dated, at times racist & classist but I liked the character & supporting characters & might pick up another in the series at some point.⬇️

A good read for anyone looking to take up journaling practice. The topic is a very familiar one so, I did a lot of skimming. I only wanted the tips/tricks/suggestions etc…

I did a bunch of highlighting & also came away with a new to me author I wanna check out.

Fredia McFadden has become another favorite writer of mine. I thought I had the twist figured out. In fact, I was sure of it... but alas, I was wrong. Her twists are so good. There was one hint about the person , but I completely missed it. 4⭐️

I picked this book because I needed lace in the #ISpyBingo for January. Nora Roberts is one of my favorite authors, and she never disappoints. Romance and inheritance with ghosts. My first Gerritsen read that‘s outside the world of ‘Rizzoli & Isles‘. I loved it💖 The tension & the setting were excellent. I will absolutely be looking for more📚🤓

Read for #AuldLangSpine 2nd book from @JacqMac ‘s list, I really enjoyed this short story, finshed this week. I read & loved A Man Called Ove when it came out but for some reason let Blackman get away from me. This story about Lucas who just wants to be left alone made me laugh out loud several times although I did identify with him a bit too much for comfort (like with his views on Pad Thai & people dropping by)! 😆

I enjoyed the artwork in this version of the classic fairy tale. I went back & read the Grimm‘s version online to see the gentling down in the modern versions (like princes being banished rather than beheaded for not discovering the mystery). A quick & nostalgic read. 💛
