#LittensLoveRomance

This was such a sweet romance of letting go and moving on from the past. And a good reminder for all of us to ask questions and not assume anything, it helps define relationships and creates boundaries.

I will definitely be continuing the series! My goal is to read one each year around RenFest time to keep the vibe going!

An easy read, with lovable characters, and the backdrop of a Renaissance Faire. It was fun, especially as a BR with #LittensLoveRomance

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.23-end and review: well, Simon succeeded in doing the grand gesture and winning Emily back. It was very romantic - a hand-fasting that melds both their worlds - Faire and real life - together. And then the epilogue with the proposal exactly 1 year and 1 day later - be still my heart. It‘s literally all coming up roses. Emily feels like she is important and seen and Simon is moving on from his grief in a healthy way. ⬇️

StayCurious I enjoyed this book even if I did think a lot of things could have been worked out with a good lengthy conversation. But I felt like Emily‘s insecurities- while inconvenient to us - were realistic in light of her past. It would have been nice to get Simon‘s POV once in a while too. (edited) 1mo
BarkingMadRead It was a perfect ending, a cute romance that 💯 could have been a novella had they communicated 🤣 1mo

CogsOfEncouragement I enjoyed this one. May we all remember to consistently ask the right questions. Nice to see April pulled into some more socializing too. Thanks for hosting this BR. 1mo
TheAromaofBooks This was a fun reread!! Thanks for hosting!! 1mo
CrowCAH This was such a romantic 💝 read; I thoroughly enjoyed it! Definitely I want to continue the series, thinking of making it a “yearly” RenFest read! Moving on from the past is difficult and it shouldn‘t define us. Here‘s to asking the right questions and talking it out 🍻 1mo
Kshakal Cute and romantic… I loved it! 1mo
SarahBookInterrupted Yes, this was a cute one. I already put on hold the next one in the series. It‘s Stacey‘s romance! 1mo
Read4life Loved this one. I‘m going to continue with the series. 1mo
vonnie862 The ending was cute! This was a fun read. 1mo

#LittensLoveRomance ch.21-22: Well, Emily did ask the right questions- and while things finally got sorted out with Chris and the bookstore (at least until Spring) the talk with Simon did not go to plan. He is definitely attached to Faire and worried about letting down his brother - but it is weighing him down as well. Emily is right in standing up for herself - even though I think they could have tried to talk it out. ⬇️

StayCurious But maybe there is something planned for the last day of Faire. Everyone seems to be nudging Emily to go. Maybe there will be one final act for the wench and the pirate. We‘ll finish up tomorrow. 1mo
BarkingMadRead Ugh that whole fight made me so sad, I hope they have something planned for Sunday, it‘s definitely grand gesture time 1mo

TheAromaofBooks It did make me a little frustrated when Emily said/thought something like, “this was something talking couldn't fix“ - like... actually, I think it could?? I get that she's hurt and he needs to get some stuff straightened out, but it also felt like she threw a bunch of stuff at him and then just ran away. 1mo
vonnie862 Well, I was not expecting Simon to act the way he did. However, I was frustrated that Emily immediately assumed they broke up. They had a fight. It's time to talk it out; not act like it's the end of the world. 1mo
CrowCAH @BarkingMadRead for sure - fight for love!!! 💕 1mo
CrowCAH @vonnie862 it did seem a stretch that they broke up. It was a big major fight. Hopefully they can reconnect and sort things out! 1mo
CogsOfEncouragement As much as I don‘t enjoy a third act break-up, I was amused when Stacey immediately caught on and responded with: Oh, crap. What did he do? 1mo
SarahBookInterrupted @CogsOfEncouragement me too and that she delayed her date to be a good friend. 💕 1mo

I was frustrated by both characters. There were some good parts, but basically, I wish people would talk to each other. #LittensLoveRomance @StayCurious, thanks for hosting. #Read2025 @DieAReader #TurnThePageReadathon @Bookwormjillk
