#LittensLoveRomance Ch.19-24: Sorry for the missed post - I was hosting a friend‘s baby shower which left no time to read. Firstly, Katie is not the best matchmaker. How could she not see that Adam and Gemma are perfect for each other? Second, how could she say she was looking for her match with Callum right in the room? Third, I think Glenmill is still going to bulldoze the place. They‘ll just wait for heat from the festival to die down. ⬇️

OriginalCyn620 I hope Gemma gives Adam a chance! I hope she sees that they‘re perfect for each other. And I‘m interested to see what happens with all the construction…I don‘t want everything to be demolished, but I fear it might be too. 2h

#LittensLoveRomance Whew - things have gotten intense. A great few chapters. Katie was met with new challenges that would make anyone day drink and she essentially quit. Her struggles were put online and went viral - but it got her festival and the town the attention they were looking for. The biggest development is with Callum. ⬇️

StayCurious That was a nice grand gesture even if the barn was already too far gone. I‘m interested to see if he‘ll be able to repair his relationship with his brother. 2d

CarolynM There's lots I'm liking about this book, but I'm not fully on board with the relationship yet and I agree with @OriginalCyn620 Callum quitting his job seems a bit extreme. 2d

Read4life I‘m not fully caught up, but I want more of Callum‘s backstory. I feel like his quitting wasn‘t really out of the blue and that there‘s something he‘s been wanting to pursue. 2d

Well at least now she‘ll have even more to prove to both Jack and Callum. And herself. Poor thing. How is Callum going to change her mind about him? Do you think he‘ll go to her Gran and plead his case?

LiseWorks It's interesting that even the workers don't know about them being brothers. Why is that? I think he might have to calm his brother down a bit. He seemed to be in a huff when he walked in. 3d

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.10-12: I can see how much Katie needs to do to get the festival off the ground, but she is going to burn herself out. Especially with working and keeping care of her Gran. A flirtation with Callum could be just what she needs to relax. Or is that too risky? Is he the enemy? Or is he just enemy-adjacent? She clearly is worried about being seen with him if she hides him from Nush.

julesG I hope Callum is just doing his job but not actually agreeing with Jack. Otherwise this won't work out. Guess Katie is hiding Callum because Nush tends to shoot first and might not ask questions later. 😉 Also agree Katie has far too much on her plate, she needs more help. 3d

maich Callum does not see Katie as an enemy. He's only doing his job. They need something fun. Both working to much and they need a little passion. She's thinking about it and he held her....There's definitely something going on here. 9h

Here‘s hoping she can keep her enthusiasm and positivity. Although even I‘m thinking she‘s in way over her head. But if there‘s one place in the world to find luck - it‘s Ireland. Right?

julesG My first thought about the money for the festival was "clean the well, there must be a few rare coins in there" - I know, not how it works. Yet, Rome cleans it's fountains of coins regularly and they make a pretty penny. ? 5d

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.4-6: well, we have the corporate villain, that‘s for sure. Ready to plunder and destroy a town and its history. And the pub where Katie holds so many memories. Can she really stand up against them to save the pub and put on this long lost festival? It‘s an uphill battle for sure. Looks like she‘s on one line of the battle ground and Callum is on the other. Even if he doesn‘t seem entirely thrilled with his boss‘ actions.

maich It was a busy week and I stay behind with reading. Will try to catch up with you guys. Great meme! I like it. This book remind me of Halmark movies. The guy who wants to destroy the town (or something) and the girl who wants to save the town. In movies they end togerher. I won't be surprise if that happen. 1d

#LittensLoveRomance Happy St.Patrick‘s day! Let‘s get our Irish on! Ch.1-3: a funny if embarrassing meet cute between Callum and Katie. It was nice of him to seek her out afterwards. He could have just chalked her up to a crazy lady - and who could have blamed him?! So far he seems like a good guy. But things are bound to get more complicated. As they always do. So far I like the Irish setting and some of the side characters seem colourful.

maich It's interesting and a little funny how they meet. In Europe, we are not used to going out in pyjamas. We get all dressed up even if we just take the rubbish out.😆😆 I'm not 100% into the story yet, but I think it's developing well. I find the characters interesting and they add variety to the story. 7d

julesG @maich What? You get dressed up for taking the bins out? Not happening in my part of Europe 😉 - you should see my neighbours some days 🙈. I've taken the rubbish out in pyjamas or in a bathrobe. I even went to the corner shop in my PJs and a hoodie to get ingredients for breakfast (when I lived in London). Granted, no rubber duckies on any of my PJ bottoms. 6d

maich @julesG Not exactly, but yes, we never go out in our pyjamas. We always go dressed up. We have space in our wardrobes for home and non-home clothes. That's what our ancestors taught us and that's what we pass on. All over the Balkans and then higher up too. In the North you probably have different customs.😆😆 6d

julesG @maich I come from a rural area in East Germany. I was, of course, brought up with dress well and never leave the house in "house clothes", including the awful long apron-coat things that women wore at home to protect their good clothing from stains. But I've embraced the "sloth look" since and don't police my children. (their father does though, they have to stay in the car and can't come shopping when they wear joggers, for example). 6d

StayCurious @julesG @maich here in Canada we‘re pretty laidback but I wish we made more of an effort! I work in a doctor‘s office and it used to be an important visit and you dressed for the occasion - not anymore haha! 6d
