Apparently we are showing off Holiday socks today, so here are my Storm Troopers wearing Santa hats, one loan Vader, and my platform crocks.
So a few weeks ago they painted my office while I was gone. I had to empty everything. Book shelves desk, etc. everything. It‘s taken weeks (and only punched because mom had to empty her office ) but I finally have my office back and looking like me. The big main thing is my 2 foot read letters that sit behind my desk. Years ago I sent my dad on a while goose chase to find me the letter A. I had all the others. Love dad!!
Happy Star Wars day! How is everyone celebrating? Is anyone reading any Star Wars books today? Watching a Star Wars marathon?
It's also my husband's birthday today. We can't go anywhere, but the kids and I will do our best to throw him a little birthday party.

Got my ticket for the latest instalment. Didn‘t realize that I had purchased a ticket for a 3-D screening until I had already purchased the ticket but oh well; at least I‘m in the adult area and can get decent food and adult beverages. #movies #starwars #christmastime

Anyone else obsessively refreshing their computers and phones or tablets waiting for Star Wars tickets to go on sale. It's today, but they didn't give a time, just a day. And I need 8 for opening night!! (Okay not preview night like I normally do as I have a kids xmas concert to go to, but still that first Friday night).
My plan this weekend was to read, read, read, and then my husband surprised me with this...and I got a little distracted. I will confess to being a huge Lego nerd (in general) with an extra special fondness for Star Wars. I‘ve finished the first box and now it‘s back to reading. Several chapters into The Bone Garden and I am absolutely loving this fun, quirky MG book.
The movies, remastered for sound and picture BUT before Lucas did his wishlist of edits and corrections. The one VHS set I‘ll never part with, even if I‘m terrified to play them for fear the VHS player might eat them. It makes no sense, I know....😂

Jabba Sail Barge, Complete with Jabba (inside), his frog snack, and Leia watching from the window, R2 serving drinks on deck, the pit of Saralacc, there used to be a Luke waiting to escape on that skiff, but my nephew made off with him years ago... so he has escaped already 🤣

Ok...This Death Star is really the best of my LEGO collection. I love the rooms with the mini dioramas of various scenes from the original trilogy. On this side you have thee ultimate scene from Return of the Jedi, and some some turbo canons.

Ok...This Death Star is really the best of my LEGO collection. I love the rooms with the mini dioramas of various scenes from the original trilogy. Luke in the garbage compactor, Leia in the cells, Old Ben disabling the tractor beam.

It is ALSO Free Comic Book Day nationwide today. My husband and I are in line at our local shop (who said first 50 people get an extra swag bag). I am also wearing a cat-themed Star Wars shirt in addition to our Leia and Han hats 😁
