Like peanut butter and chocolate, DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE are fantastic together. I don‘t even really care what they do, I know it will always be gory and hilarious. When the mysterious villain Delta plunges the disparate duo into violent scenarios for wealthy elites' viewing pleasure, they get much more entertainment value than expected. Really fun!

The DEFENDERS have always been the STAR TREK to the AVENGERS‘ STAR WARS. Meaning, less bombastic and more weird and thoughtful. Led by Dr. Strange, a group of mystical misfits must delve deep into the pre-cosmos to counter a threat to existence itself! Bizarre in a good way, but not as great as other tales from this team I‘ve read in the past.

This is the first Daredevil graphic I‘ve read. It seems a bit contrary a blind person can dive through a window as that will generally cripple or kill most able-bodied people.

Beyond that, may this be a the birth of a native-born Chinese undocumented immigrant? Coz that‘d be awesome.

The book did bring up the difficulties the undocumented have to deal with no matter how much they deserve to be citizens.

We definitely more of that message.

Soscha If finishing up the last of my Hoopla free reads if you can‘t tell. 😝 1w

I was 15 pages into the book when I had the thought that you're not supposed to know what kid grows up to be Wolverine, lol

Really enjoying the art, so pretty 😍😍

Everyone thinks Bruce Banner is dead. But he‘s not. He‘s just wandering around the US waiting for nightfall when ‘the other guy‘ emerges. This ‘reboot‘ is great! It takes the book back to its gothic horror roots, establishing a Jekyll / Hyde dynamic (and a bit of vampiric flavor in that ‘he only comes out at night). That Hulk is also crafty and devious, makes this story interesting. Oh, and he‘s also immortal! Worth checking out!

While any abridged adaptation is necessarily going to come with its share of deviations, I think the team at Marvel did an excellent job at adapting this epic story. They even included a cheeky King cameo, with “Rich Bachman“, drawn to resemble King, as one of Flagg's lieutenants. #constantreader #losersclub
Having read both the original edit and this adaptation, it'll be interesting to one day read the “complete and uncut“ version.

While I enjoyed the double helix structure--Thrawn and Vader in the present interwoven with Thrawn and Anakin in the past--something was off about the pacing. In four issues, they do a lot of detective work, but it wasn't that suspenseful.
