She hadn't had a chance to work through the pros and cons, or check it for safety from every angle. For heaven's sake, she hadn't even written it down and nothing *counted* until you wrote it down, which meant that Dani was currently engaged in the highly dangerous practice of loving Zaf without a permit.

1. No, but my kid has. Luckily it was candy corn so I'm not tempted. I will definitely be hitting up the after Halloween sales though. 😊

2. Mental health's important.

Dani or Danika Brown, has always been extremely focused, driven. Hard working. Some see this as a flaw but she knows it‘s her superpower. She has long since given up on romantic relationships as they often find her lacking and it gets in the way of her goals. But maybe there‘s a cute security guard in her building, and maybe she has to start fake dating him, and maybe that leads to more 🤷🏻‍♀️

I keep surprising myself by reading and enjoying romance. I loved this 2nd installment even more than the 1st (Chloe Brown). I love that Dani is big, bi, and a bit witchy. I love how confident she is, and I love her rapport with Zaf. Zaf was such a good male lead, a lovable grump with a soft side. His character reminded me so much of Roy Kent, I hope there's an adaption one day so that Brett Goldstein can play him 🥰

Sisters Chloe, Dani, and Eve all have their turn at being the protagonist in their own steamy and laugh out loud story. I listened to the first book by accident, finished the second one on purpose, and have just now placed book three on hold at the library. Funny and awkward listening.

This book was the perfect remedy for getting out of the slump. A steamy rom-com; friends to lovers in unexpectedly expected way. I enjoyed the main characters, their stories and their development. Hibbert does a great job showing what true overthinking, anxiety and the stress of marriage to your job can look and feel like. The first few pages in my body gave a sigh; it felt like the perfect stress relief and it didn‘t disappoint.

Zafir saves Danika from a building fire. A video of the heroic act goes viral. Now, they must fake date for Zaf‘s charity event. The more time they spend together, the less fake the feelings & desire become. Will Dani accept her feelings for Zaf?
This one was unexpectedly so good. My favorite out of the Brown sister series. I loved Dani & Zaf as characters & their chemistry. Their diversity was my fav part. The spice & story were a good balance.👌

A charming romantic comedy about a young woman who agrees to fake date her friend. Dani is a strong independent woman and Zafir has been hurt in the past and has issues of his own. Is the relationship more complicated than it should be? An anti romance main character paired up with a sentimental romantic. What could possibly go wrong?
Mental health issues and anxiety features predominantly and are dealt with sensitively.

I have been in a reading slump since my accident and this book has got me started back into reading. This was part of my night stand book spin. I guess the ancestors knew this I needed something fun, spicy, and easy to read. I love this little collage I saw while googling the book cover #ambw #woc #poc

Amazing book! This is the Second sister in the Series regarding the Brown sisters. Chile was fun & romantic. Yet Dani‘s book is hot! Sexy, sultry, & bring light to anxiety & long term grief. I really enjoyed this book, if you need something to make swoon & clutch pearls— this is it! 9 out 10 #summerread #sexy #witch #interracial #awbw #uk #drrugbae

I have been in a reading slump. I did a random pick of my TBR on my night stand. I am getting out of my little reading funk with this one. I have read about Chole Brown, now I am on to Dani. I loved her in the first book and wanted more. So glad the spin landed here. Light & Easy (plus very sexy) so far. I am hoping this will fully get me in swing of things ❤️ #poc #woc #sexyfun #Brownsisterstrilogy

Main characters were so likable, they weren't flawless and admitted it. They were so realistic and I couldn't anything else than love them.

This was cute story - the thing I loved most was how uncomplicated it was. There wasn't unnecessary drama.

I am so glad that I continued the series, this was better than the first one.

I‘ve got a bunch of “assigned reading” this month (book clubs - for work & otherwise), which means I‘m definitely going to need some quick, fluffy reads in between. That‘s where you come in. 😉

Tag 1-3 of your very favorite Romance reads below. Some of mine are pictured. 💘

xicanti And this was marketed as a holiday romance, I think, but it‘s not especially holidayish: 3y

shanaqui This is probably my absolute favourite, but bear in mind, lots of explicit gay sex. 😅 It's like Georgette Heyer, only gay and explicit. But like... the first time I read it, I ended up wriggling in glee and curling my toes at just how perfect the relationships are. 3y

This was a great follow-up of the Brown sisters. Hibbert does a wonderful job creating relatable characters & depicting healthy relationships. I especially loved the love interest Zafir who suffers from anxiety & panic attacks because I also struggle with these issues and it was nice to see it handled so well. Dani asks the universe for the perfect f* buddy but is given a fake relationship with Zaf, the romantic

This book was pretty steamy, but I loved it. I don‘t read many modern day romance books, which is odd because Rom/Coms are my preference in films. I loved both the main characters. You are really rooting for both of them and the side stories are really good too. It wasn‘t just about the romance but the lives and struggles of the main characters. I enjoyed it. Wonderful author for when you need a light, enjoyable and happily ever after read.

Loved Zafir! He was awesome. Glad Dani figured things out and made the big gesture. Along with enjoying the book, I had fun checking out all the fan art. One more sister left in this trilogy. After Zafir and Redford, wondering what type of person Eve will get matched up with.

When you think a perfect book man doesn‘t exist, along comes Zafir. He‘s emotionally in tune, he loves his family, he reads romance, and he understands and is dealing with the trauma he‘s been through. I thought he and Dani were totally worthy of social media fame and a cute hashtag.

Fake dating turned more is a favorite trope of mine. And then throw in opposites attract and I‘m hooked.

I liked Get a Life, Chloe Brown a little better than this book because I related so much to Chloe's chronic pain, but the story was cute and I admired Dani. I am trying to get used to that level of sappy and happiness in my books. I did think Zafir's anxiety was portrayed well and he had good coping mechanisms.

I enjoyed this book more that the first one. I think Dani and Zaf were still in the process of an emotional healing and together they would discover these fears. It is second chance romance story, just to give themselves another opportunity to love and be loved. There were so many funny parts including those “sexy” ones. 3.5⭐️
