I am cackling… per usual Em‘s books are full of snark, hilarious moments and absolutely badass female characters. I couldn‘t wait to read Poppy‘s story and her sass did not disappoint.

This book really surprised me, I didn‘t expect it to be so gripping and deep. A beautiful portrayal of women‘s fight for survive, how we band together and help each other through
This book is intense and powerful, it shows the corruption of people and how far some will go. It shows the compassion that some people cannot shead no matter how they try and the power of sticking together.
I will be thinking about this one for a long time.
A beautiful, gothic, suspense. I couldn't put it down.
This book is full of laughter and heart, found family and the question: is it better to be alone and safe? Or to take the risk and be surrounded by loving support.
This story is a giant warm hug, possibly my new favorite cozy fantasy. It is everything.
Feilla and Redd are both Vampires in a small wintery town that is experiencing more than it's fair share of bad luck. Thrust together in an attempt to re-build Fiella's shop they struggle through their mutal dislike of one another.
This story is beautiful, it is the sapphic, second chance romance you didn't know you needed. About the power of love and loss and the pressures of society.
You will need to bake something or acquire delicious bakes goods after reading this book.

This is sapphic, it‘s adorable, it is amazing friends. It is cheesy and so freaking cute
If I could pinpoint one book that proved to me that books were magic as a child. It would be The Secret Garden by Frances Hogdson Burnett. This story has and will always be magic.
Reading a graphic novel adaptation took me back to being 11 years old, racing through the pages of the original. I highly recommend for anyone who struggles with longer stories, as this gives you the story in a much more condensed version.
This was a super quick read. I read it on my lunch break at work and it was a happy day in the life. I need 10 more.
I love Abby Jimenez, her books are relatable and fun and I always end up laughing my head off….this one had those moments too but also made me bawl like a baby.
Vanessa has a 50-50 chance of dying of ALS by the age of 30. Every other woman in her family has. So when she meets Adrian, the hot lawyer next door and bonds with him over raising her baby niece, she refuses to fall in love….but we can‘t really control that can we?
I picked up this book because everyone said it was like Bridgerton….I honestly don‘t know how to feel about it. I‘m sure we were meant to hate Frances, and believe me, I did.
This is actually the first book in the Garlic series.
In this book all the vegetable people are nervous because a vampire has moved in. They send Garlic to confront the vampire because all the stories say that vampire‘s and garlic don‘t mix, so they think Garlic will be safe.
Again, it‘s cute a cozy, a quick read and super happy.
A graphic novel that takes us into The Darkling‘s world before he becomes the Darkling. A world where he and his mother are constantly on the run. Hiding what they can do, who they are and fighting to survive.
Society in the desert is divided into two villages, the sun village and the night village. The night village worships the moon and is given the gift of night moths that pollinated a night blooming lily that keeps their village alive and prosperous.
I did not expect this book to be that deep. But it absolutely was. It‘s about found family, society, working together and mental health

Garlic is literally a garlic bulb brought to life by a witch to help her in the garden. Whilst grappling with getting more humanoid Garlic goes on an adventure with Count, their local vampire to the night market.
It‘s cute, it‘s cozy, it‘s a super fast read and I would recommend it to any and everyone
Eve is my favorite of the Brown sisters. I relate to her on such a personal level. She is fun and quirky and has given up on others expectations of her and decided to be herself anyway. I loved watching her fall in love.
Dani or Danika Brown, has always been extremely focused, driven. Hard working. Some see this as a flaw but she knows it‘s her superpower. She has long since given up on romantic relationships as they often find her lacking and it gets in the way of her goals. But maybe there‘s a cute security guard in her building, and maybe she has to start fake dating him, and maybe that leads to more 🤷🏻♀️
Sally and her sister Gillian were raised by their spinster witch aunts. Both leave home to get away from the taunts and ridicule of the town, but maybe home isn‘t just a place.
This is the same story, but completely different from the movie and I am absolutely in love…with both haha
My adorable husband surprised me with this book because he thought I would enjoy it.
Emily is a researcher, she researches Fae, Fairies etc. She has gone on an expedition to document never before documented wee folk and hopefully high Fae. Her adventure is crashed by an annoying coworker, townspeople are kidnapped by Fae and the adventure turns out to be much more than she expected.

Thrust on a dream vacation where they have to pretend to be together and in love, the two find that maybe they don‘t hate each other as much as they thought.
It‘s sooo cute, it‘s fake dating, it‘s enemies to lovers, it‘s introverts. It‘s I wish it never ended
I was legit confused for the first half of this book. Like I did not understand the meaning behind the stories the old woman was telling. But once I got it, it was a beautiful and sad story
I wish there were 20 more books in this series. It‘s just pure peace.
The second book in the Monk and Robot series follows Mosscap‘s part of the adventure. Dex and Mosscap leave the wilderness and journey into the villages and Mosscap learns about humans and asks them its question.

My mom texted me and said that she had just finished this book and I would absolutely love it….of course she was right.
Every month my mom and I choose our Amazon first reads book together and read it together. This month we went with a murder mystery and it was fantastic, I read this book in two days and that‘s only because I had to stop and go to work.
In my quest to find more books with the vibes of a Psalm for the Wild built; the internet said I should read Crumbs.
This is a YA graphic novel about a witch who wants to join the witch council but is hesitant because then everyone she loves will forget about her. She meets Laurie in her favorite cafe and their love story is a story of finding themselves and their futures.

Carissa is about to begin her new job as a social media manager for the Chicago redtails. When she unknowingly runs into their captain over the last box of lucky charms in the store.
This book is super cute. I love Susan Renee‘s writing and the characters she creates. Carissa like many of her MCs is all sass and fire and I absolutely love her.
I cannot describe how much I loved this book. It may be the coziest book I‘ve ever read. Zero stress, it was like sitting in complete peace for an hour and a half.
The third book in the falling for fables series. This story follows Astrid, a cursed dwarf who can never go outside the mountain and mysterious shadow demon Tormund. Both are competing in the strongest under the mountain to win the Everstone, a magic gem that will grant the owner whatever they desire. Both believe they deserve it more and both are determined to get it first.
This book is so fun, Brody has so much silliness in him, and Amy‘s type A resistance is honestly relatable. There are so many laughs to be had. I need to go back and read the Unhoneymooners because comedy gold.
My Mom loves this series and I can see why.
Needing a fresh start to life Audrey Smart takes a chance on a 1 euro house in Sicily and embarks on a new adventure. Unfortunately she finds her self at the center of a murder investigation.
This book was hilarious and relatable. And Nick the fox is the best character ever.
This was a fun quick beauty and the beast retelling without any curses, set in Victorian times. It was cute and sweet and I love that Chips character was included because he is my favorite.
I got the first and second books of this series in two different stuff your kindle days and I am so incredibly happy I stumbled upon them and that the rest of the series is in KU. A middle-aged witch with faulty powers, her ghost familiar and a mischievous raccoon make for a hilarious crew. Throw in her vampire crush and dead bodies popping up all over the place and you have hours of entertainment.
I cannot stop reading them.
This is my second time reading this novel and it‘s always sooo good

This series is one of my favorites, packed with adventure, snark and beautifully written characters, finding ways to survive in a post apocalyptic world.
This story follows Paz and Bird after Zenith has been restructured. Paz has returned to his old job and Bird is helping run the government. But when she is abducted Paz must step out of his comfort zone to help try and find her
