Been home all week thanks to this girl named Covid and she almost took me out but sleeping, sipping hot tea and meds made reading this feel so good!!
We're in the path of totality for the eclipse, so I'm chilling in the yard with a book, waiting for the moon snakes to devour the sun. 🤷♀️

pickThe story of Hades and Persephone just keeps getting better and better. Complications abound as Hades confesses his feelings and secrets from Persephone‘s past begin to emerge. Fantastic, colorful art and a retelling perfect for the modern age make for great reading. Love this comic. 💕

pickI have loved every volume of Lore Olympus and this may be my favorite to date. That cliff hanger ending, though…😱 I can‘t wait for the next volume.
The art and coloring are gorgeous and I love Smythe‘s reimagining of the Greek gods and goddesses.
pickMy preferred ratio of silly to drama, and the movement of the plot forward, is back on track with this volume. Feel a lot better about continuing in the series, even though I'm now caught up with published volumes and will have to wait. 🙎🏼♂️ Eagerly anticipating library acquisition of next volume in 2024!

pickI love this series. This is legit one of my guilty pleasure kinda reads. The artwork is fun and this retelling is unique and very creative. If you haven't started reading this I really recommend you start!
