My best read of April was also my first read of April.

@Catsandbooks ... how do we use the wild card? 🤩

Catsandbooks Wild card can be used however you like. Maybe you had multiple books you wanted to use as your month pick. Or maybe there's a book that got eliminated that you want to give another shot to. ☺️ 2w
dabbe @Catsandbooks Cool beans! I think I'll have to save it until December and then look at the whole year. Thanks for the explanation! 🤩 2w

It's almost May so it's time to post my #2024bookbracket These picks surprise nobody. (GRRM is a phenomenal writer) I was having trouble deciding between the two ASOIAF books, but ultimately, I love them equally.

I also had my first bonus pick of the year!

#BookBracket2024
March pick is Ashes of You. Its book 5 in the Lost & Found series but it is by far my favorite one out of the series. I loved the mixture of romance, suspense, teenage angst, trauma and healing. Oh the feels with this one.

This stunning alternate history novel takes first place for my reading in March @CSeydel #BookBracket2024

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I'm loving the trend of bright colored covers dominating your bracket. 1mo

Here We Go Again: A Novel | Alison Cochrun
post image

This was a hard one because I had three 5 star reads this month (Here We Go Again by Alison Cochrun, Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer, and Bride by Ali Hazelwood), but Here We Go Again talked about grief so beautifully and made me cry, so it gets the spot for March.

My #MarchPick for my #BookBracket2024 graphic novel bracket

I was very torn to say Lore Olympus won. But I think it's the length difference that made me make this decision.

my #MarchPick for my #BookBracket2024

March also beat out my January pick (but... it was a close call there)
