pickI enjoyed this romcom so much! After I read Get A Life Chloe Brown I was hooked and knew I had to read the second book in The Brown Sisters‘ series and it did not disappoint. I can‘t wait for the final book in the series to come out. I need to know Eve‘s story.

Perfect place to start, Dani isn‘t either, but Zaf sure is!
pickPredictably, I absolutely loved this. Talia Hibbert goes straight for my heart (and sexy parts). A Black bisexual academic heroine? A South Asian ex-rugby player who reads romance novels? I adore these two. Loved the careful representation of Zaf's anxiety, his trauma from his dad and brother's deaths, Dani's witchiness, and her issues with intimacy. Great use of the fake dating trope as well as the friends with benefits oops we caught feelings.
I got my copy of this gorgeous book from The Lit.Bar, a black owned bookstore in NYC, a few days ago! As always, #BookMailIsBestMail I just started reading it! I‘m already completely gone for both Dani and Zaf! I ship #DrRugBae and I ship ‘em hard! Dani may be my favorite Talia Hibbert Heroine! And that‘s saying a lot!
