This was a good little cozy set in a family run apple orchard. So of course someone gets killed there. My favorite characters were Kenny Rogers and Dolly the kittens 😸

Tomorrow is munchkin‘s Easter party and the day the hubs leaves for a week in Lake Eerie. Making treats for both tonight while I listen to the tagged book.

I loved this cozy so much… what could be a better setting than an apple orchard?!? Great characters, a great mystery and I am so intrigued that I have already requested the second book in the series from the library!!

Tori this was an incredible #cozyswap package! You found a cozy that takes place in the same part of West Virginia as me!?!? And an orchard??? One of my favorite places to be! And leaf bookmarks! ( I really do love trees that much🧡) and a book sleeve with a pocket (my favorite kind)- the green soft socks (😍🙌) snacks, coffee, candle and PUMPKIN MUG 🎃🍎🙌🎉 plus a very cozy soft, warm blanket! Started my morning by finishing this #HolidayRead for #WinterGames! It was a cute cozy set in an apple orchard in the Eastern Panhandle of WV (which was obviously the deciding factor when I picked it off the new books shelf at the library!). My only complaint comes from her description of being in Northern WV when no one from WV would call the EP that, but that‘s a very small detail only I would find irritating! 😂

I found the characters to be fresh and engaging and the mystery was stellar, one you can really take a big bite of and still be wrong. The setting was pure bliss, someplace I would visit often.

I‘m a cozy fan, but as I get older, I‘ve realised that I don‘t like very defensive main characters. I enjoyed the story and the side characters, but I had a little problem with Winnie. There were a few unrealistic points, but I‘d read a book 2 to see how the series goes!
