Now that it's officially December I can pull out all my holiday bookmarks! 🔖🎄😍

Ashley, you probably didn't realize I was a litten but the spooky themed bookmark you included made my #scarathlon day! 🕸️ I immediately switched it into the vampire novel I'm reading - so appropriate! 🩸 Thank you ☺️

9-18-23: My youngest daughter had this wooden bookmark made for me. It‘s cut off at the top so you can‘t see The Bell Jar and at the bottom Practical Magic. These are some of my favorite books that I will read over and over. 📚💖📖

Sept. 27 - Gifted to you

Sept. 26 - Reading/Book Themed

Many of these are what I would consider vintage bookmarks from the 80's. Definitely ones to hold on to.

Sept. 25 - Vintage

I have what I would consider several "vintage" bookmarks from the 80's many of which I have used in other prompts or plan to use. But this is my oldest bookmark. I discovered it in an antique store one day.

September 24 - Pop Culture

I'm behind... that's life.

I've already posted several pop culture related bookmarks with other prompts, but here's some others. Fraggle Rock is probably one of my favorites.

Powells made these bookmarks so you would fill your basket with award winners. All but one is 2 sided .

All the vintage bookmarks I found were religious and in my mother's old missal. Also very French (with a couple ofexceptions) - notice the bâtard bread artfully arranged on top of a bible😂

Sept. 23 - Fantasy

I'm not a big fan of Fantasy novels, so I don't seem to have many bookmarks that fall into that realm.

Day 23 - fantasy
The top one is a ticket for a science-fiction and fantasy convention. I‘m not sure they still do tickets like this now. We‘ve bought them online and printed them at home for the last few years now. I probably have a couple more hidden in random books... The bottom one shows a dragon called ”grand‘ goule” on the back of a museum entry ticket.

September 22 - Most Sentimental

This is my most sentimental bookmark, a bookmark from my grandmother's funeral. She was also an avid reader. My grandmother meant the world to me. I miss her everyday.

September 21 - Postcards

The Key West postcard I actually received at a small bookstore there. Instead of bookmarks, they handed out old postcards with your purchase.

September 18 - Astrology & Astronomy

I didn't have any bookmarks related to the seasons (other than holiday bookmarks), so I skipped right to day 18. I love the holographic one.

It would appear I also do not have any food related bookmarks. 🤔

Sept. 16 - Nature

Sorry for the delay. I've already posted some other nature related bookmarks which had animals on them. This is the only other nature related bookmark I could find.

September 14 - Magnetic

The Alice in Wonderland bookmarks I recently received in the #MerryUnbirthdaySwap from @curiouserandcurioser which I absolutely LOVE. The Dorothy (Bea Arthur) one I actually found in a used book I bought from the thrift store. 🤷‍♀️

September 12 - Wood

#fortheloveofbookmarks day 11 #metal some of these were gifts , do I like Art Deco & Frank Lloyd Wright? 🤔I like when they package them in a way that allows you to use the bookmark, then put it back on the info card .Nerdy behavior for sure. Celtic card text: Celts are the men that heaven made mad, for their battles are all merry and their songs are all sad.

September 11 - Metal

Many of these were actual gifts. The one with the glass is a cat... from one of those hand-blown glass shops.

September 10 - Animals

Clearly cats a big favorite of mine. The mice I recently found on eBay, I couldn't recent, it's vintage from the 80's and absolutely adorable. The horse bookmarks I feel like I got in some kind of bundle... while I like horses, I'm not a super fan.

September 9 - Love

It would appear I don't have many bookmarks that include the subject of love.

September 8 - Artistic (Art By)

The top 3 are bookmarks I picked up in Michigan from an artist by the name of Carolyn Stich. She does amazing work. The two handpainted bookmarks are from Key West the back simply says "Scott". The shopkeeper told me that the artist would take the scraps of matting and make these fun characters, each one being unique. ⬇️

September 7 - Handmade for You

The watercolor bookmarks were made by my sister as a gift, the one with heart attached was made by my mother as a birthday gift. The cherries I received recently from @cwarnier when she hosted a bookmark swap.
