Done! This one is a very good, and I‘m tempted to try a recipe in the back. Great characters and mystery. Love the use of Hungarian mythology. #cozies #marvellousmay #readathon 5/8 books read.

Excited to start the first in A Hungarian Tea House Mystery.. I honestly haven't seen many Hungarian novels, my own children are Hungarian descent on their fathers side, but unfortunately are not close to that side of the family, divorce is such a nasty situation, anyways.. Maybe just maybe I can learn some traditional cultural customs even tho it's just a cozy. Open to suggestions on any other Hungarian novels
It nights seem odd, but this cozy is a 5⭐️ pick for me. I‘ve already ordered the next. It reminded me of my childhood, Hungarian traditions and gaps in my knowledge. My only “regret” about being vegan is missing favorite traditional Hungarian meals. Wolf is special to me also- my family call my husband “Wolf” because he loves wolves. I LOVE the characters and the mystery. #cbbc
I may have gone a little bit overboard with the foam in my cappuccino this morning. It actually won't fit in the photograph. #workfromhome
Cheers and Happy Easter to those that celebrate.
3/5 I loved the setting and the potential the series has, it did not love this one. It seemed excessively slow. But- it‘s the first in a series so I‘d read more.
Instead of continuing to berate myself for being too exhausted to work out, or do much of anything- I‘m taking a page from @Kshakal #selfcaresunday book. Face mask complete, now for nails while I listen to the tagged book. Not commuting is really cutting my audio time.
I know I haven‘t been around much... been packing and organizing and trying to solve life. (Not yet successful in that 😜). But I have been reading! A snapshot of my 2020 so far....
Hope you‘re all well!!
♥️♥️♥️
Oh PS #cbbc #coffeebeanbookclub and #lmpbc #historicalhussies packages going out today!
I loved this book! I loved that it was enriched in Hungarian culture (which I know nothing about) focused heavily on folk lores and fairy tales and of course the cop was a total dreamboat. Plus the characters were all likeable. I gave it 5🌟
A fun cozy and the first in a new series!! I liked the characters and all of the Hungarian cultural references were fun and interesting.... this is a good book to curl up with while you enjoy a nice cup of tea!
Cozying up amidst my fall decorations with this read from the library 🍁📚
Juno giving us her profile today after seeing something outside.
Really enjoyed the first book in this cozy series. I didn‘t know much about the Hungarian culture so I found all the references very interesting. The main character was very likeable and was poked fun at for having a bit of a temper. Look forward to the next one.

Juno and I are so psyched for the first book in new cozy series by Julia Buckley. I just picked it up from the library and the spine hasn‘t been cracked yet. I‘m the first to read it!

Dollycas‘s Thoughts
This series is off to a fine start! The mystery was filled with intrigue.
I found Death in a Budapest Butterfly to be delightfully entertaining.

I loved the inclusion of Hungarian culture and folklore in this story and that the murder happened at the start. The immediate action and hunt for clues drew me in! I especially loved the chapter titles during the interrogation portions because the title named who was being interviewed, it was clever. There was a burgeoning romance taking place but I wish there had been a romantic buildup because as it was, I was not drawn to the romance.
