I totally enjoyed this spy novel. Gabriel Allon is a great protagonist and The Kill Artist is a genuine page turner. Enjoy 👍
Day 15 #Top20Series #20Series20Days
This series would most probably make my top 10, The Gabriel Allon Series is one of the best out there. Thoroughly recommend it.
Past two days posted series with leading men, the next two days will be leading female characters.

I just couldn‘t get into this book. I finished it and the ending was good, but I just didn‘t enjoy it as I was hoping to.
My first foray into the world of Israeli assassin Gabriel Allon...and it won‘t be my last! My pulse raced as the final chapters unfolded. A good thrill ride with tons of jumping from country to country. And, Gabriel is an art restorer...that‘s just awesome!
#Vladimir slept as I finished this book... #catsoflitsy
Also, current time for #24B42020
So I read this book years and years ago, don‘t really remember happened in the book, but I do remember liking it. So I thought I would pick it up again and see if I can make it beyond the first book in the series this go round 😬 #WeWillSee #NeverEndingTBR #BookNerd 💙📚🤓

(Day 11 - #OverMyShoulder)
*Gabriel Allon has been looking “over his shoulder” for going on 19 books now. That‘s what happens when you become an undercover agent for Israeli intelligence. An art restorer by trade, Allon is a bit of a reluctant asset. He usually has to be persuaded to come out of his comfortable life as an art restorer. The tagged book is the first in the series.
This first book in the series had me hooked and ready for more!
Have found a new series to read, like I don't already read enough series. Enjoyed this first book in the Gabriel Allon series.
My first Allon book. It started a bit slow as the characters were set up and background was explained, but about 1/3 of the way in I was hooked and didn‘t want to put it down. Allon is an art restorer and Israeli spy who comes out of retirement to try and take down a long time enemy and restore the reputation of israel‘s intelligence service. Well-paced and exciting with a twist I did not expect.
Last morning of the wedding weekend. Hanging by the hot tub while my son swims. Action‘s starting to pick up in this novel. #earlymorningreads #weekendlife
Getting a little reading in before my sister‘s wedding later today.
Really enjoyed this! A fast-paced thriller thriller, that zips around the world and back. Pretty sure most of the characters are running on #adrenaline most of the way through. Unlike me, who is very glad it's Friday, and so dozy I forgot to take a photo before I returned the book. So here's a view while I get some caffeine! Will definitely be giving more in the series a go.

I‘m just not a fan of mysteries, suspense, whodunnits. I don‘t know why tho because when I do, on occasion, read them I get pulled in and read like the pages are on fire and yet I just don‘t like them🤷♀️ It‘s a #mystery to me (lol sorry, had to do it!)

Lost track of where I am in the series, so I started over. Still a great introduction to a great character.
#NuYear Pretty obvious choice for #Iassassin My favorite spy/art restorer/ ex mossad/ heartthrob Gabriel Alon
I got this copy for 50 cents at a library sale. As you can see it bears a bit of wear and tear, but it's still got a few reads left in it and it's a fun read if you like spies and espionage so I'm gonna do a #firstinseriesgiveaway! Post a pic of what you are asking Santa for by Friday, December 8 and I'll put your name in the drawing for this diamond in the rough. Don't forget to tag me! 😃😃😃

My friend Fran strongly suggested I start reading this series and I'm so glad she did! I haven't read a spy novel in years and I've missed them. Gabriel Allon and Jacqueline are interesting characters and I want to know more about them so I will dive into the next in this series very soon!
International settings, spy intrigue, complex characters, and a deeply intense hero. Who could ask for anything more? Thanks to @Cinfhen for being my chief encourager to start this series. (Oops I had to delete my first post, which wasn‘t a review.)

Stranded in Liberal Kansas on our way to Arizona. Waiting for my sister's Tahoe to be repaired. I'm thankful that I'm never without reading material. 📚📚📚
My favorite audiobook narrators are on this list. Plus if you buy one of their books today, you‘ll receive a coupon for $5 towards another purchase. Well, heck. I used the opportunity to get the tagged book. It‘s the first Gabriel Allon book, which @Cinfhen has been talking up for as long as I‘ve known her. #litfluence #audiobooks #narratorsrock #narrationmakesorbreaks
A great thriller of a read with complicated characters that you absolutely need to know some more about. I shall be reading more of this series 👍
Quick lunchtime read - starting this as recommended by @Cinfhen and loved by many others on litsy 😀
Not technically his #occupationintitle, but it is appropriate. Assassin? Kill Artist? Yeah, that works. 😉

Coming late to this series with spy/assassin Gabriel Allen. Great plot with interesting characters, some very devious. And now the rest of the series to add to my TBR.
If you like thrillers, Daniel Silvia is turning out some of the best today. I just ordered "House of Spies," his 17th Gabriel Allon novel. An Israeli secret agent, Allon travels around the world posing as an art restorer. In this first novel, Gabriel is lured out of retirement and asked to spearhead a secret assassination task force. A word of warning: read the Allon books in order because Silva puts spoilers in the later books.
I need some good, old fashion, page turning, spy thriller action after my boring weekend read. And due to my book OCD I am compelled to start the series at book 1. I hope it's good because this is a nice long series I can dive into. Also started some non fiction to counter all the action.
I started reading the Gabriel Allon series around book 9 or 10 and love them. Picked up the first of the series as a daily deal a while back. Thought it might be fun to go back and read from the beginning. Great thrillers all the way back, it seems. But, I do know where the carryover plot lines are going. 😏
This started very promisingly, as a pacy thriller, though the author fell into the common trap of over-elaboration. See my goodreads review at: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1041210.The_Kill_Artist.
Gradually thawing out after a morning chopping firewood in the snow. Enjoying this fast paced thriller, and the coffee is rather splendid too.
My first Daniel Silva book! The Kill Artist did not disappoint - by the end I felt intimately connected to the characters and their beautifully told, intricately woven story. Being set in so many cities around the globe, I also felt the thrill of a world traveler, hot on the heels of these secret agents. Already started the second in the Allon series!
Gabriel Allen is one of my favorite spies. #spynovels #photoadaynov16
