Wonderful book which is entertaining as it is informative. I particularly love how Gabor Mate uses individual stories to both explain concepts and drive the overall narrative. Highly recommend 👍

The ultimate fate of all intelligent beings has always been to become as grand as their thoughts
I can‘t say that many books have changed me. Death‘s End rocked me to my core and changed me. This book is filled with wonderful and brave characters. While some of the technical paragraphs were extremely challenging to read the narrative arc is out of this world. Please do yourself a favour and read these books. You will cry you, you will be challenged, you will be entertained, you will love and you will become a better human ❤️
They had discovered that the language of the eyes that Zhuang Yan had dreamed up was now a reality, or maybe loving humans had always possessed this language. When they looked at each other, a richness of meaning poured from their eyes just as the clouds poured from the cloud well created by the gravitational beam, endless and unceasing.
Human civilisation has a history of just five thousand years, yet we cherish life and freedom so highly. There must be civilisations in the universe with a history of billions of years. What sort of morality do they possess? Is there any point to that question?
In the cold expanse of the universe, all carbon-based life shared a common destiny, one that might take billions of years to cultivate, but a destiny that cultivated feelings of love that transcended time and space
I didn‘t think The Dark Forest could possibly be better than The Three-Body Problem. I was wrong. I was entertained, I was educated, I was moved and I cried. I felt alive reading this book. I have recommended these to all my reading friends. I hope they do read them because humanity will only improve the more people who do. LOVE THIS BOOK ❤️
Truly outstanding book. From the first pages I was hooked. Three-Body Problem is filled with wonderful and believable characters and outstanding storytelling. I‘d finish one chapter and I drive right into the next one because I had to know what happens next. This book is highly entertaining and thought provoking. Highly recommend 👍
Chiron had said once that nations were the most foolish of mortal inventions. ‘No man is worth more than another, wherever he is from‘
Wow what a novel, what an adventure and what am amazing read. Highly entertaining book which always happens to be a beautiful love story which had me in complete tears by the end. The ending was so powerful and moving I thought about it for days. Love this book ❤️❤️❤️
Solid Australian crime story/drama. Strong characters, well written, genuine page turner and it had me guessing to the end. It‘s not going have you thinking about the characters dilemmas for days but it‘s an entertaining read 👍
Without doubt one of the best and most moving books I have ever read. It truly is devastating. It‘s amazing well written and by the end you know each of the characters so well. I cannot recommend this book enough. A must read
I happily devoured this book in a weekend. A real page turner and twists galore in the last quarter. It‘s not going to change your outlook on life but guaranteed to keep you entertained 👍
Wonderfully written novel. The pain the characters feel and live drips from every page. Highly recommend
Love this book. Without doubt one of the best pieces of LGBTQ 🏳️🌈 fiction I‘ve real. Well written characters with heart and soul. Highly recommended
I totally enjoyed this spy novel. Gabriel Allon is a great protagonist and The Kill Artist is a genuine page turner. Enjoy 👍
It was an honour to finish this book. I‘m not sure if it‘s the best of the series (I loved them all) but it doesn‘t matter because it‘s a work of art. It is over 800 pages of entertainment. Which left me in a pool of tears by the end. I was crying because I loved all the characters. I was crying because Carlos Zafon had died too young. I was crying because that‘s how powerful books make you feel.
The memories we bury under mountains of silence are the ones that never stop haunting us.
One of my all time favourite books. It‘s filled with fabulous characters and so many twists and turns. If you love reading you will love this book 👍👍👍
After loving “The Dry” I decided to give The Lost Man a read and I‘m glad I did. It‘s another excellent read. I feels similar to The Dry and I think this is why I enjoyed the original more. Despite this The Lost Man is still an excellent book filled with well written characters, intrigue and had me guessing until the end.
Where can you start with fabulous book? It‘s has a quiet yet eerie beginning and then the tension ramps up dramatically. By the 2/3rd point i was completely engrossed. A wonderful novel for our strange times. Highly recommend
Another wonderful Ben Elton book. Fabulous topic - reality tv, well written filled with great characters and a truly gripping page turner (I read the last quarter in one go). If you haven‘t read for a while I can‘t recommend Ben Elton and Dead Famous enough
Every book, every volume you see, has a soul. The soul of the person who wrote it and the soul of those who read it and lived and dreamed with it. Every time a book changes hands, every time someone runs his eyes down it‘s pages, it‘s spirit grows and strengthen
Wow what I book!!! I picked this up at a second hand book store simply because I read Shadow the of the Wind. I had no idea it would be this good. I love the characters and it‘s a genuine page turner. Best of all it‘s about books and writing. Highly highly recommend
I don‘t trust people who say they have lots of friends. It‘s a sure sign that they don‘t really know anyone.
Love this book. I was intrigued from the first chapter. It‘s filled with wonderful characters and the story unfolds at a great pace. Best of all who doesn‘t love the circus 🤡?
I was given this book as a gift from my Ex and I loved it. The writing style makes the wisdom within book relatable and easy to digest. Great gift idea, particularly for your loved ones looking to make a change in their life‘s 🙏
Wow what a book. I didn‘t learn anything new but the fact I read it in less than a day shows how entertaining and easy to read it is. If you are looking for a classic page turner with a fabulous end, this is your book 👍
Terrific novel filled with fabulous characters. I read it only a few days. Highly recommended 👍👍👍
Love this book. This was my first Daniel Silva (Gabriel Allon) book and it was a genuine page turner. Heaps of action and surprisingly gripping finally.
Love this book (despite not truly loving the last quarter). The character are all vivid and bounce off the page. I feel as though I also learned a lot about trees. I thought provoking read.
Wow what a book, a truly life changing book. I have never been overly religious but Return to Love had a profound impact on me. So many nuggets of gold. So much wisdom. I loved this book 👍

The nature of hate is mysterious. It can gnaw at the heart for an eon, the depart when one expected it to remain as immobile as a mountain.
Loneliness and solitude are two different things. When you are lonely, it is easy to delude yourself into believing that you are on the right path. Solitude is better for us, as it means being alone without feeling alone. But eventually it is best to find a person, the person who will be your mirror. Remember, only in another person‘s heart can you truly see yourself and the presence of God within you.
Wonderful book filled with truly amazing characters. Cairo truly comes to life in this novel. Highly recommended
Wow what a truly amazing book. Well written, entertaining and damn hard to put down. I learned so much about our past and the stupid mistakes we continue to make. I hope everyone reads this book. Our world will a better place if we do
I wanted to love this book because the message is so important. I loved the copy on the inside cover but this book badly needs an edit. Badly. I had to put it down after 50 pages because I simply didn‘t care how much the author liked Central Park.
Writing in his memoir, Memories, Dreams, Reflections, Carl Jung couldn‘t have been clearer in lamenting our species drift into future-fantasy: “We rush imperiously into novelty, driven by a mounting sense of insufficiency, dissatisfaction and restlessness. We no longer live on what we have, but on promises, no longer in the light of the present day but on the darkness of the future which we expect will at last bring a proper sunrise.
In order to endure, to survive trauma or even just to stay afloat when life threatens to suck us under, we need to know we are not alone.
Omg I love this book. Fabulous strong female lead character. Beautiful storytelling. I loved it from the first word to the last sentence. Highly recommended
His Dad told him many times that the definition of a real man is one who cries without shame, reads poetry with his heart, feels opera in his soul and does what‘s necessary to defend a woman.
My Mum recommended i read this and Im so pleased she did. Powerful and moving. Highly recommended
So much better than expected. I genuine page turner. Mr Galbraith has an extremely promising future 😉
