Really enjoyed this story one of Jodi Picoult‘s best. Follows Jack St bride who was a beloved teacher who was accused of sexual assault by one of his students. After spending 8 months in prison jack lands up in a place called Salem falls where he meets Addie Peabody the owner of a diner.the town finds out about jacks past and try‘s to run him out. Jack runs into more trouble when his again accused of sexual assault by teen girl‘s who are witches
#augustauthors #jodipicoult
I‘ve only read two titles by Picoult and I liked this best out of the two with it‘s fall witchy vibe.
I have finally finished my twelfth book of #lockdown this one took me so long as I‘m finally back to work and I was struggling to get a routine back, I‘m happy to say I‘ve finally managed it and read the last half of the book so much faster. I enjoyed the book a lot and it definitely wasn‘t what I was expecting from reading the blurb. I‘ve read a number of Jodi Picoult books before and although this isn‘t a personal favourite I did like it
Onto my next #audiobook while I stirring homemade jam. #audiocook
Intrigue and suspense that smacks of the Salem witch trials, complete with a group of teenage girls who are a little out of control.
#fallisbooked #bonfire
Not only is there a bonfire on the cover but also one In this Picoult book about a small New England town where a man with a past tries to reinvent himself and where teenage girls play at witchcraft.
Tagged book for sure, or Dark Matter. What about you?? #nationalliteracymonth (Picture from Barnes and Noble Facebook page)
My goal for this year was to read 12 books - 1 book for each month, and today I met that goal so I have upped my goal to 17 books in the year. I am so proud of myself that I have achived this personal goal for myself. I have always loved reading, since I was a child, but in the last few years I have been lacking, and the last couple of years have been difficult so reading was pushed to the side. Let's see how many more I can read by Dec!
Wow, this book is amazing. It started off slow at first put it picked up quickly. I couldn't put it down. Had so many twist and turns.
I think Jodi likes #BlueBooks 📚💙📚💙
I recommend all of these!!

Pretty good book full of romance and witchy themes 💕🦇🌙
I really wasn't sure about this book at first, it was sort of slow and I couldn't remember who each character was. But eventually it became so captivating I could not wait for my breaks at work to read it!
In true Jodi Picoult fashion a controversial topic is woven into the lives of some interesting characters...think high school teacher, witches, rape victims, drunks & small town drama. Unlike so many of her books, Picoult added explicit sex scenes in the love story portion, but should have left them to the reader's imagination...those passages aren't her finest writing.
I stole this from Facebook. I had to share it with you guys.
I dnfed this back in February because I was in the mood for fantasy. After hearing littens as well as some people in my life raving about this I decided I would give it another shot. Wish me luck.
Over the years, I have read several Jodi Picoult books, and Salem Falls continues to be one of my favorites.
Jack is new to town and trying to start over but one morning that opportunity is shattered when a teenage girl accuses him of something terrible.
As likable as Jack is, and as much as we want to trust the main character, we quickly find out this is not the first time he‘s been accused of something by a student...
Five solid stars !
I am dnfing this one for now. I thought I would need a break from fantasy after finishing The Wicked King before jumping into A Court of Thorns and Roses. However, after reading about 100 pages or so in Salem Falls I realized I was wrong. Also, to be fair it is out of my reading comfort zone so it could have been contributing to my disinterest. The writing is very good. It‘s just not what I am in the mood for at the moment.
I have the best brother in law. Can‘t wait to go through them to see what all is in there.
I've culled my bookshelves to become a @booksontherail Book Ninja! Prepare to see these lovely books taking a ride on Melbourne's trains, buses and trams very soon! Who knows where they'll end up?

Listening while I travel. Love Jodi Picoult, but not the best reader. I can hear her take drinks and swallow.💦

I thought the prompt read "books" so here are the books I have owned the longest! Some of the pages are turning yellow! Love Jodi Picoult ❤️❤️

A lie took two parties---the weaver of the tale and the sucker who so badly wanted to believe it.
Is there no good penitence but it be public? - The Crucible. Picoult keeps the reader guessing--another great story
I'm about 180 pages into it and... meh. I am indifferent at best towards the characters, and some I really can't stand. I went through a big Jodi P phase a few years back, but my last 2 have been bails. Tastes change, I guess! On to something I'm more excited about!
The ending was so unexpected! I love Picoult's thought provoking books!
