I really enjoyed this book although I struggled to get into it at first. It took me ages to read the first part of the book but then I couldn‘t put it down for the rest of it. Such a good book, I love how she can write so well as so many completely different personalities.

Having watched the ITV drama about the case I was a little apprehensive about reading the book as I didn‘t think it would give me anything different but I enjoyed it so much more than the drama. It was interesting hearing it all from him and hearing the journey that he‘s been on since the murders. I would highly recommend the book and have in fact already given it to my mum to read.

I have finally finished my twelfth book of #lockdown this one took me so long as I‘m finally back to work and I was struggling to get a routine back, I‘m happy to say I‘ve finally managed it and read the last half of the book so much faster. I enjoyed the book a lot and it definitely wasn‘t what I was expecting from reading the blurb. I‘ve read a number of Jodi Picoult books before and although this isn‘t a personal favourite I did like it

I absolutely loved my eleventh book of #lockdown so glad my mum included it in the box of books she‘s given me to keep me going. I found the book so gripping and difficult to put down, I was actually dreaming about it sometimes. I loved the ending, I really couldn‘t fault the book at all. Love love love it!! I‘ll definitely be reading more #BAParis

My tenth book of #lockdown has been a good one. I really enjoyed this book although I did find it kind of hard to follow at time with the changing narrator but it was written so well and really makes you able to get inside of the mind of a grieving 9 year old. I watched the film a long time ago but found the book much more gripping

My ninth book of #lockdown is one I‘ve been meaning to read for so long. I don‘t know how I‘ve managed to wait this long to read it especially as it‘s a favourite of my mum and sisters. While I enjoyed the book I think my expectations were too high and it didn‘t meet them. I think that it was quite drawn out in the first part which made it hard to read but I then loved the second half and couldn‘t put it down

Eighth book of #lockdown complete. I really enjoyed this one, I felt like so much happened that I just didn‘t see coming at all. It was also really interesting reading a book set in places I know, it made picturing the scenes so much easier.

Book seven of #lockdown completed. I‘ve not read a book like this in quite a long time and it was really nice to have a little change. I enjoyed being able to sit and read one of the small stories whenever I got a chance

#lockdown book six completed. I found the idea of this book so good and I feel like it really worked. I can‘t believe one women has been through so much and managed to come out the other side not filled with anger and hate

I absolutely loved this book!! My fifth book of #lockdown and the one I‘ve read the quickest. I didn‘t want to put it down. I had watched the film years ago and didn‘t fully remember the story line which worked perfectly with all the twists in the story. I really loved the book and would highly recommend it

Book four of #lockdown finally completed yesterday. I don‘t know whether it‘s because I read so many of them when I was younger or if they just don‘t interest me anymore but I didn‘t love it. I feel like these books need a different approach to make them worthwhile reading and this one didn‘t really do it for me which is probably why it took me so long to read.

Finished my third book of #lockdown a few days ago but forgot to write a post. I got the book for Christmas and enjoyed it (if that would be the right word). It was interesting to relearn all the terrible things that the gang put that poor mother through. I had watched the documentary on ITV a few years back but I found this much more heart wrenching.

Second book of isolation completed. I got this book for Christmas and finally got the time to read it. Such an easy read and the small chapters meant I just kept reading on thinking just one more chapter. Never read anything from #oyinkanbraithwaite before but I‘ll definitely be keeping an eye out for her in future. Would definitely recommend this book for a quick interesting read

#isolation book one completed. I didn‘t love this book, I found it quite difficult to get into and sometime felt I was reading it just to be able to read the next book rather than because I actually wanted to read it. Although I was able to learn new things about #moorsmurderers and I do think it was an interesting take on that kind of book

This was just a random book I picked up at a charity shop to get the two for one deal but it‘s ended up being one of the best books I‘ve ever read. It‘s the first #harlancoben book I‘ve read but certainly won‘t be the last. It was one of those books that perfectly is unpredictable but has you constantly trying to guess it. I love it and would definitely recommend!!

MallenNC I just started reading his books recently and have already finished three in a month‘s time. 5y
Mellyhilly @MallenNC which other ones would you recommend? 5y
MallenNC @Mellyhilly The other two I've read are Run Away and The Stranger. I'm planning to read more during this “stay at home“ time. 5y

I read book after hearing part of a dramatisation of it on radio 4. Having had high hopes after hearing it I was slightly disappointed by the book as a whole and found some parts slightly irrelevant. I felt it did a good job of creating suspense but then the actual mystery wasn‘t great
