Took about 100 pages to get hooked. But this turned out to be a gripping read! Huge trigger warnings!

THRILLER - MYSTERY
Two minutes sooner, two minutes later....it would have made a difference.
Two minutes sooner, two minutes later....it would have saved the horrible pain.
Two minutes sooner, two minutes later....it would have saved Jacob's life.
I LET YOU GO takes off like a speeding train and doesn't stop with the suspense until the last page.

Read a total of 18 books this month! Much better than last month. I enjoyed most of these, but the tagged book was especially good!
Wow! This was so good! This is only my second book by this author, but I think she‘s gonna be a favorite of mine.

I listened to I Let You Go, another epic thriller with unanticipated twists, by Clare Mackintosh. A young boy dies when he runs into the road after his mother lets go of his hand. A mother hopes to evade her trauma by starting over. The suspense and unexpected extend throughout the novel. Mackintosh is excellent author of her genre. 4 stars
This was my #BookSpin pick for October! I didn‘t write a review after reading it, but I enjoyed it for the most part. It was a bit slow at times, but I‘m happy to have finally read it! 4âï¸ @TheAromaofBooks
Started off slow to medium pacer and then the plot twists and turns so I couldn‘t put it down. Told in different POV‘s in such a way that we don‘t always know who is talking. A boy has been killed in a hit and run accident. The police have no clues for a long time and then the “truths†come out layer by layer. Great character development, vivid imagery, not for the faint of heart.
The story here had potential, but it ended up being a fairly average thriller. The big twist was pretty predictable and there were several side plots that went nowhere.

MacIntosh writes in a way that causes visceral reactions. My emotions were running rampant during this book. It really should come with a warning; I almost threw my phone! That being said, the 🤯 twists that everyone told me about? I figured them out. Even before I knew there were more I was thinking of twists because the previous ones were just ...okay. So that gets a lacklustre meh from me, but the storyline was harsh, and emotional.

Clare Mackintosh just announced her new book! Man, I can‘t wait. I‘ve been a huge fan of hers since that masterpiece “I Let You Go.†Sooooooo excited!!!
Finished book 4 last night 👊👊
I actually didn't think I would like this one. It started off a bit slow but once it picked up....wow! This was incredible to listen to and so hard to put down. I would highly recommend it, but it isn't an easy one.

I know I‘m in the minority but I thought this book was very mediocre, full of flat characters and cliches. I can‘t say more about the things I disliked without spoilers, and this is a book it‘s best to go into blind. It was a quick read for the beach.

This book started off as a slow burn which turned into a raging fire... I couldn‘t put it down once I got about halfway through and has an ending I never saw coming!!
“Nobody‘s ever laid on their death bed wishing they had spent more time at work,â€
He‘s been a big fish in a small pond for a long time, and now he‘s swimming with the sharks
#Deweys24HourReadathon has officially started, and I‘m digging into this audiobook before I crash! I got lots of reading done during my shift last night for #24B4Monday but now I‘m exhausted. 😴🥱
I really liked this book! Great twists and very atmospheric. This is the 2nd Clare Mackintosh book I have read and enjoyed both. Well done. 4âï¸

1)a- I've dyed my hair every color except black and green
b- I have a vocal range from 1st Soprano all the way to tenor
c- When speaking to people with accents I (unintentionally) mimic it back after a few minutes
2) Catcher in the Rye. Seriously thought my English teacher hated me with how slowly we worked through it, and I just hated it so bad.
3)Yes! Jenny Lawson & Grace Helbig
4)Probs too cold, you can always layer
Soooooo.... long story short, my amazon order is being held at the post office because I ordered a pitch fork, and they won't deliver it 😂😂😂😂 oh boy.
But besides that, this book is pretty good so far!!
This is the first book I‘ve read by Clare Mackintosh and I immediately added her others to my holds list as soon as I finished it. The twist in the middle made me stop reading and gasp out loud. So good! âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸
Nothing like a book by the pool! Enjoying this one so far. â˜€ï¸ â¤ï¸

This psychological-thriller kicks off with a rain-soaked road accident that sets the book‘s events into motion.
This is one of my favorites from this genre (a genre that I have a real feeling of ennui with at the mo!) The characters are well-developed, it has a really tense ominous feeling throughout, and a good couple of twists.
4.5/5 🌟
This book will make you angry, broke your heart and make you angry again. The ending was nothing like the first few pages of the book. I felt like I was reading a different story but it all made sense after part 1.
This book was a rollercoaster of a read and one I highly recommend.
Trigger warning for rape and abuse.
This book is heartbreaking ðŸ˜
I'm on chapter 13. It's starting to get more and more interesting. I can't wait to know what happened that day.
Thank you so much Misty @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I love the bookmark and can‘t wait to read the book. It‘s been on my list for a while. Such a great start to my birthday week, my first present and I was off today and spent all day reading!! â¤ï¸ðŸ“š #litsylove #itsmybirthdayandillreadifiwantto

MY REVIEW: https://bit.ly/2y7LEWr
Alternating POVs surrounding a domestic abuse survivor and a hit and run accident. It was at times infuriating, suspenseful, sympathetic, but overall, the story was just okay for me. 3/5
Wow! Is all I can say regarding this book..while the first part was slow going part 2 had the twists and roller coaster ride all the way to the last page...great writing and definitely worth the late night finish!
