Book 3 (Wolfhunter) was as good as books 1 and 2, but with less focus on Gwen‘s past and more on how she and the kids rebuild their lives. Until that process gets short circuited by circumstances. Gwen has a good heart and wants to help other women in danger. Of course, it wouldn‘t be a thriller if it didn‘t put those she loves in danger too.

Such a good book in this series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Gwen, Sam and the kids have a lot to work out. How will they survive all of the people who want to make them pay? Will they be able to survive as a family?

Once again I stayed up late to finish this because I couldn‘t put it down. This series is so good but it makes me feel tense! Definitely recommend.

3.5/5⭐️ Best of the series thus far. If you can suspend reality a bit, this is a fun read. Characters & plot are better developed and while descriptions of locations are better than previous installments, there is room for improvement. I enjoyed the action, pacing and story of this one a lot. I do think that the series should‘ve ended here, however. Very enjoyable, but quite unbelievable.

Good book, just not as good as the other two in the series. Seemed like a bridge book to me. A book to get from Gwen getting rid of her X to moving on with her life.

I love this series so much! I fell in love with the characters from the very beginning and I hope we get more and more of their stories! I follow Rachel Caine on Twitter and she‘s currently battling cancer so prayers going up for her!

The third in the trilogy (now maybe a series?) didn't disappoint. A fast paced story packed full of action, sharp writing and barbed twists make this one a can't miss!

So I finished the first 3 books of this #stillhouselakeseries. It's a great series so far. I enjoyed book 1 & 3. Book 2 is somewhat slow and dragged. I'm looking forward to reading book 4 - Bitter Falls which set to be released on Jan 2020.

Bk2 Of The #24B4Monday #readathon is finished. I very much enjoyed this whole series, this book being the latest. In this, Gwen is finally starting to move out from under the shadow of her serial killer ex husband, but after a botched tv interview where she was ambushed by the mother of one of his victims, a woman reaches out to her for help. By the time Gwen arrives, Marlene is dead & her daughter charged with her murder.

Taking a time-out for an ice cream break, I don‘t care that it‘s 4am here in Sydney, my body clock is stuck in owl-mode & it‘s telling me it‘s time for afternoon tea.🦉🍦🙌

I really, really love this series. The plots are so unrealistic and I don't even care. Action-packed with twists and turns that you often don't see coming. Apparently there will be a 4th book, which is exciting!! 4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fast paced and entertaining brain candy! Book #3 in the Stillhouse Lake series. If you're looking for believable characters or situations, this isn't for you. But if you're looking for entertainment and page-turning action, this is her best yet. 3/5 stars #series #crime #braincandy

I really enjoy Rachel Caine‘s writing style. I‘m happy to revisit Gwen, Sam, Connor and Lanny in the third book in the suspenseful Stillhouse Lake series. It will keep you on the edge of your seat.

#BookMail Pt8 Bk3 in the Stillhouse Lake series, I loved the first two so we‘ll see if it continues. Gwen Proctors serial killer husband is now dead. But his internet fanatics are still stalking her & her children, but Gwen‘s determined to make a new life for her family. When she gets contacted by another threatened woman, she feels compelled to help but Marlene is murdered before she gets there & her daughter arrested for the crime.

Book 3 in the series and my favorite, so far!!! Gwen and Sam continue to keep themselves and her kids safe and, now run straight toward a mystery of some strange disappearances. Highly recommend this book and series!!! 💜💜💜

Oh man. I think that this Stillhouse Lake series is maybe my favourite current thriller series. I flew through this installment just as quickly as the other 2. Man it was a wild ride.

This series runs at a frenetic pace, and I‘m glad I will have time to start it on my commute this morning.
