A little early morning Cinnamon roll and tea in my new Gilmore Girls mug, while I try to finish my current read. Sausage casserole going in the oven next. so-soThis was a short novel that is part of a bigger series. I didn't really feel anything for these characters. I wonder if I would feel differently if I had read the series, had read their story. I also got annoyed with the constant need of the MC to talk about how sexy her husband is. I have no problem with erotica, but I found myself rolling my eyes after the 3rd time in the first chapter. I get it, he's sexy, quit telling me that. Just ok for me.

so-soSuper short story that‘s a follow up to Lucky Harbor book 3 Head Over Heals. Essentially Chloe has a freak out while 8 mo pregnant about Sawyer going on assignment for the DEA. Then she goes into labor. There‘s one sex scene, that‘s in italics and may be cut directly from book 3 as it‘s a flash back. Took me about 20 minutes to read. #readwomen #romantsy #holidayreads
