Thanks @CareBear for the tip! If you‘re in or near Connecticut, this is a fun way to support your local independent booksellers.

Carolhreads Hey say these two posts about the same thing :) @umbrellagirl you guys will probably have your plates full with visiting bookstores that day but wondering if y'all are planning a litsy meetup since some of Y'all might be in the same bookstore at the same time and not even know it or even a meetup for the future I'm not in Connecticut but just being nosey lol 😂 7y
umbrellagirl Actually we do have a meetup planned at one of the stores on the list for the following weekend. 🙂 7y

Life is in a lull which means time to pick some books up again. Loved the first book and partway through the second. Wish me luck!

The second in The Testing series, Cia comes back having completed the Tests that the governement has thrown at her and other testing candidates. They're at the university but cant seem to remember the Tests they've been subjected to. Cia and the others must fight to remember as well as once again fight to survive initiation. Initiation takes a deadly turn. Must read.

SO 👏🏼 MOTHER 👏🏼 FLIPPIN 👏🏼 AMAZING 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

[DELETED] 1409720085 I really liked the 1st and 2nd books but I lost steam in "Graduation Day" about halfway through. I think because I ended up getting the audio instead of a hard copy. I definitely need to go back to it. 8y
maximoffs @emilydecato I'm going to hopefully get through that one tomorrow! I'll let you know if it's worth it 8y

I needed a book I could start and finish in a day. I think this is the one.

Beckys_Books Good luck! 8y
Cyn.Microcosm What is that series about? 8y
maximoffs @Cyn.Microcosm I compare it to a combo of Hunger Games and Divergent but it doesn't feel like a rip off of either. Basically: dystopia, there are colonies, each year kids that show promise enter "The Testing". At first the Testing seems normal - pen to paper - but then it gets super intense and abnormal. I LOVE IT. 8y
Cyn.Microcosm That sounds rad, thanks! 8y

They waived the 10 book a day limit for me but then I reached the max amount of books checked out at one time 😭😭😭 but yeah...went to the library again. And yes, I've never read Hitchhikers before 🙈

Dragon You are in for some fun 8y

Mehso-so

I love the premise of the series, but this is too plot-heavy for me. Constantly having to keep track of who is playing which side and who cannot be trusted gets tiresome. I like the characters, but the continuous internal questioning tends to get on my nerves.

I liked this book more than the first time I read it. It seemed to go much faster for me as well. I almost cried at the end (Michal no!!) but I was glad I finished it. Now to get Graduation Day and finish this trilogy!

I'm reading this faster than before. I think it's better than the first time I read. Maybe because I'm in the mood for dystopian at the moment.

I'm rereading the first two books so I can finally read Graduation Day, but I just remembered how boring this book was for me when I was reading it for the first time. I'm going to power through it so I can finally finish the trilogy.
