Jill Shalvis is one of my most favorite authors, and this is my favorite series of hers. I don‘t buy a ton of in print books anymore, but I‘ve been checking on these books as I‘d like to own them. The gods smiled upon me the other day as two were on sale for less than $10 and I had a $10 gift card, so I picked up all 5 books and I have no regrets.
pickWhat a fun read...I cried, I laughed and oh, my heart swooned. This story has all the elements that make a great book. It‘s a story about love lost, new love, family and new beginnings. This was a heartfelt story full of all kinds of emotions. What the characters are going through is realistic, the reader could relate to these characters. A sweet story I highly recommend.

pickThis book was a big warm fuzzy hug. I won it for filling out a survey I think, otherwise I would have never had it on my radar. So glad I did! It was a sweet and funny romance. Set in a small town. Great premise. Steamy male lead with a snuggly old dog. What more could you ask for? Really enjoyed it! 4⭐️
Every chapter of this book starts with these great quotes. Love this one! 🥗 🍩 🥰📚❤️😂

Day 6: Books with Dogs | #booksacrossoceans
Jill Shalvis just makes me wanna get a dog, especially her Animal Magnetism series. In this book the hero, Mick has a dog Cooper. It was fun reading about him!!
pickThis book was fun, relatively light, and quick. I really enjoyed my time with these characters. Loved the excerpts from Tilly Adams's journal at the start of each chapter. Just what I needed after the heaviness of my last read. #leggingsarepants 😂

pickAh! Shalvis does know how to do small town and adorable characters. Loved the funny quips, the tidbits from "Tilly Adams's Journal" and the I Love Lucy moments.
The story was extremely engaging. So much engaging that I powered through a headache and stayed up late to finish it! Another one of my current favorite contemporary romance authors. #romantsy #jillshalvis #5stars
