18/150 I've never watched any of the Rebels animated series, so Kanan and Hera were totally new characters to me. I like the story, set just after Revenge of the Sith, the Empire is still new and expanding. It was refreshing to read about characters not in the movies for a change, but they're still interesting enough that you want to know more. 4 💥💥💥💥

I finished my latest #audiobook featuring Kanan Jarrus and Hera Syndulla! Love it 😍 A great story of how he and she met before we see them in the animated Rebels show! Glad to hear the Dave Filoni was consulted for the script.

This is the prequel to the Rebels series (which I really need to watch). In this one Kanan and Herra meet and save the planet Gorse and it's moon Cynda.

This book is exactly what I'm expecting from a Star Wars novel. Different characters, different views, fights with words and swords, a fast pacing story and a deeper meaning. Yes, I really enjoyed this book, it was a lot of fun to read.

My first finished book of 2020, A New Dawn seems appropriate really for a new decade. I enjoyed this one quite a bit, but in fairness I also enjoyed Star Wars Rebels the series, so seeing the backstory of how these 2 met and learned to trust each other enough to become a team was so much fun. I could definitely read more stories about the 2 of them.

My first was A New Dawn by John Jackson Miller.... not sure if it will be my first finished, I have 2 reads going at the same time, but it‘s the first one I picked up and read part of in 2020.

As part of my countdown hype to The Last Jedi, I'm catching up on back episodes of all my Star Wars podcasts. Listening to all the book breakdowns just makes me want to reread them all immediately!

Finishing A New Dawn has compelled me to read the Kanan comics during lunch. What can I say, I just love Rebels.

I really wanted more background on fugitive Jedi Kanan Jarrus, my favorite character from the Star Wars: Rebels TV series, so I was excited to find this book. In A New Dawn, Kanan has pretty much turned away from his Jedi past in order to survive after the Emperor destroys the Jedi Order. I liked the parallels between Kanan's character and everybody's favorite intergalactic smuggler, Han Solo. ;) It was cool to see how Kanan evolves into a hero.

I enjoyed this peek at the beginning of Kanan and Hera's relationship, but there were parts where I just found myself tuning out. Definitely a fun read though.

It's a little beat up after an unfortunate incident involving my iPad going into my bag weird, hit I'm finding this book very interesting and even though I'm behind on Rebels, I love seeing Kanan and Hera meet. #starwars #rebels
