The world building and magic system with storm hearts was really fun. Cassius is an interesting character, and perhaps in book 2 we can see a little more of him and uncover his secrets. I don't think he is going to be the true villain.
You ever start reading a book and you‘re like... this is kinda trashy but I still dig it? Because that was this for me. I really disliked the romance, but the magic was interesting and I was curious where the author was taking everything so I continued onto book 2 and it was still pretty trashy but I still like the magic and want to know where she‘s taking this which means I‘ll probably end up reading book 3 when it‘s released. 🤷♀️🤦🏼♀️ 👇👇👇
Another score from Dollar Tree! Im very excited about the tofu cookbook!
I love this cover! Still the story just didn‘t do it for me. Interesting concept about people who can control storms. I found myself bored at times. Ended on a bit of a cliffhanger but I probably won‘t read the next one. Glad it‘s off the board though! 😁 #bookspinbingo
I absolutely love this cover😍😍 I finally bought it after keeping it in my wishlist for three years and now I can't wait to start reading this!💃☺
Non è bellissima questa copertina?😍😍 Dopo averlo lasciato per tre anni in attesa nella mia wishlist, ho finalmente deciso di comprarmi questo libro e non vedo l'ora di iniziarlo! Sono super eccitata💃💫

This book is honestly my favorite book of all time now. I‘m not even sure why. All I know is I finished the book wanting more! It has everything I love fantasy, girl power, royalty, Magic and relationships!
Enjoyed this story of storm magic, royal intrigue, and some romance. Not big on the romance part but there was not tons of it. Roar is a princess but has no magic to protect her city. She goes looking for a way to get some. I‘ve already ordered the next book. It comes out in August. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
1. Angela, we met in the 6th grade. We have been friends ever since. We don‘t see each other as much as we would like, though.
2. I cannot recall but I have seen some amazing sunrises on my way to work.
3. Cinnamon, evergreen trees, roses, magnolias
4. The last book I completed was Miss Mabel‘s School for Girls.

Omg do I love this book! I am so relieved it lived up to the hype surrounding it.
I was so intrigued by the magic in this one, the storm magic. It's such a interesting, cool, unique concept and I ate up every tidbit of information given about it throughout the book.
I love Aurora, aka Roar. I love Locke. I love them together! Am I the only one that doesn't love Cassius? I just get "creepy jerk" feelings from him lol
5 stars!
1. Hard rock
2. Spring or fall
3. Fantasy
4. I had fried shrimp, okra, and fries with my daughter and family
5. Done!

Hi Litsy Fam. I‘m looking for someone to join an online book club. One of our members quit and we need a committed person who‘s willing to read different kinda books on the team. PLEAAASE LEMME KNOW IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED. (Also currently reading Roar by Cora Carmack and I‘m liking it so far. It‘s my 30th book of the year so yay me 🥳)
Laundry is caught up, dinner is in the crock pot, and the toddlers are at the gym with the husband. I‘ll just sit and have an hour to myself now. ❤️📚
Not too shabby. I finished one book today and book jumped around with three books. Made progress on the three. Started to listen to Roar on audiobook because I‘m exhausted. It‘s 1 AM, so I am calling it a night. Night littens! #24in48 #readathon #tired #bookstagram #night #roar #litsy #littens #bibliophile @24in48
So good! It the cliffhanger ending killed me. I really want to know how Roar and her makeshift family deal with the storm that‘s heading their way. Should be a good one!
5🌟! I loved this book so much! To be able to challenge and conquer storms is an exciting concept! I'll be over here waiting patiently for book 2.
I didn't have a lot of time to read today but I'm enjoying it so far. Hopefully I can get some more reading done tonight.
The rest of my fairyloot haul from the last year! I‘m so behind on reading these the only one I have read is the one tagged above......I think from this pile The Hazelwood needs to be next because of all the buzz I‘ve been hearing! And also because fairyloot provided the perfect scented candle to go with it- to really immerse me into the world! #fairyloot #TBR #Aprilread
Against darkened skies
And darker souls,
A Stormling stands.
Amidst thunderous cries
And raining coals,
Raise Stormling hands.
So I started this one on a whim when I was on the plane, I don't remember even buying it on my Kindle. At first it was a little hard to get into and I'm still not entirely sure I understand how the magic works in this world BUT I ended up really liking it! It ends on such a cliffhanger that I am definitely going to pick up the next one!
Looky here, it is little miss unpopular opinion. I have serious thoughts on this book. To be fair, the magic is awesome, I would have loved it if that was what it was about. Unfortunately, it is about horny characters. I don‘t read “will they won‘t they” books for a reason. I kept waiting for more fantasy...
I mean, it is fine but not my cup of tea.
🌟🌟🌟🌟 loved it! It was a little hard getting into at first but after about the first 2.5 hours I was totally hooked! I need book two! It‘s projected release date isn‘t until mid 2019 😭 sad panda. It‘s a good ya that will give you some angsty feels but a fantastic syfy that will leave you wanting to have your own powers! Also, that cover!!! Droolllllll🤤
The fruits of my audio cooking 😍😍😍
I am totally loving this audio book!! I‘ve gotten so much done today, laundry and meal prepping and errands and dinner!! Had to catch up on everything after staying at the hospital for 4 days and this book has kept me motivated!!
LOVE - the only way I can describe my feelings toward this book! Not a ton went down in this book exactly, but it was all clearly set up for the sequel. And oh my gosh the romance~ in this was swoon-worthy. Aurora was a strong (and at times a v stubborn) character, which made the story that much better. And if my review didn‘t convince you, I also finished this book in less that 24 hours. THAT good. 🌪
I think I liked the book, but I also wasn‘t motivated to read this quickly; I wanted to be done with it, but I didn‘t want to read it. I wish she‘d given Cassius more of a chance and fought for what us gets before she ran off too.
👩🏻🎨drive or color or clean or ignore the hub and kid.
👂🏻 all of the above.

the tagged book is my current audio from hoopla.
The book was okay. It won me over in the end. It needed more world building and action.
At first, I was having a hard time convincing myself I liked Aurora. One minute, I thought she was a great heroine, the next she drove me bonkers. Eventually, she won me over. On the other hand, I adored most of the other characters and thought the world building and storyline were great. Overall, enjoyed the story very much and am really looking forward to the second book! #LitsyAtoZ #R

I really enjoyed this book and the plot twists Carmack threw in there. I don‘t usually read a lot of fantasy books even though I have several but this one really spurs me to pick up more of them. I look forward to where the next book will go.
What a story! Aurora/Rora/Roar is an amazing character, she is strong in her own way and rather courageous. I can't wait to see her future.... Her character will grow in future books, there is no doubt about that... But let's face it, the leading lady can sometimes be outdone by the leading man.. So.... Cassius and Locke.... Hot and Strong.. every girls dream!
Highly recommended.
I started this book today, it had me enthralled until its end. I can't wait for the next one. I hope its amazing as this one.
