I love the way you never guess where all these twists and turns are going.
Another entertaining read from Coben.

The lovely sun rise this morning at Gladstone‘s! Missing it already.
Thanks to my reading buddies for a great weekend.
And 4 books read 😁
Back to work now…..
Not his best but I still really enjoyed it! 😀 Finished it up at camp yesterday 🥰
I really did love this book. I didn‘t give it 5 stars because of one crucial, irritating thing the author kept doing. Repeating himself… over and over and over again. The story is phenomenal. The mystery…. Phenomenal. But was the author trying to make a page length? If any of the characters said let it go one more time I think I may have thrown the book. Other than that, if you can forgive the author like I did, read the book. It‘s a good one.
This was how it was. Some came to my office to learn, some came to impress, some came to grovel, some came to chat-that was all okay. I don‘t make judgements based on these visits. That would be wrong. I treat every student who walks through those doors the same because we are here to TEACH, if not political science, maybe a little something about critical thinking or even-gasp!-life.
Neither Coben's best work, nor his worst. Absorbing premise, well plotted and wrapped up as always, but exceedingly farfetched.
Harlan Coben is one of my favourite authors. No one else does action-mystery quite like him. Still, the story here does stretch credibility a tad 😉
This is a great answer to "do you believe in love at first sight?"
The answer is no, but I'm a romantic so the answer isn't THAT much of a no. Haha.
It's actually been SEVEN years since I met the wonderful Harlan Coben and heard him speak about writing. This signed copy has been on my shelf since then. How? How have I not read it yet? It started off that I was saving it... but the years went by...
I need some Harlan Coben back in my life right now. Let's do it...
This was so good! The premise is really fresh- a man watches the woman he loves marry someone else and promises to let her go, then 6 years later he reads the husband‘s obituary. He goes to the funeral but the grieving wife is someone else, and no one he talks to has ever heard of his love Natalie or the art retreat she attended when they met. What happened? Is he going crazy? Who was she and where is she now? Harlan Coben makes it all make sense.
Happy Saturday Friends! What are you reading this weekend? I have recently discovered @harlancoben and I have been loving his books! If you are a fan of @harlancoben , what was your favorite book of his? Six Years @harlancoben @duttonbooks 🍵🍫 Instagram at castrojeannette
I love anything Harlan Coben writes, and this was no exception. Hooks you in from the beginning.
Jake falls in love with Natalie, then she dumps him unexpectedly for another man. She invites him to the wedding, and makes him promise to leave her and her new husband alone. Six years later Jake sees an obituary for Natalie's husband, and you can guess the rest. He tries hunting her down only to get involved in much more than he bargained for.
Jake Fisher falls madly I love, but his girlfriend overnight married an old school friend. Six years later Jake discovers her husband died & tries to reconnect only to find bizarre circumstances.
Jake thinks he's found the love of his life, till she abruptly dumps him and marries another. He promises never to contact her again and keeps his promise for (drumroll) Six Years. Characteristically page-turning stuff, seasoned with wit but it's a fairly implausible plot and not up to his usual standard imo. Fun, though, if you don't expect too much.
There were a few twist in there that added so much to the story. Great ending.
My day off, a cup of coffee, and my first ever Harlan Coben read. Hope it's a good one! ☺👍

Harlan Coben never disappoints. Six Years was suspense from the beginning to the end. There was a lot of mystery and secrets... I like that kind of books. The story was really interesting and characters are all well developed.

Well that was a quick read!! I can see why people plow through these mysteries! Jake watches the woman he loves marry another man but when that man is killed 6 years later, he's got a completely different wife and family. Jake then goes on a wild goose chase for answers. It was a fun book, lots of dialogue & it felt a bit like a CSI episode. I'd definitely read another Coben book as a palate cleanser!

I'm only a "mother" to two Zebra Finches and a Godmother to my best friend's two adorable daughters so I don't know what it's like to actually be a mother. I do know I love my mom with my whole heart and wished I could have seen her today but she had to work. ? Happy Mother's Day to all you moms that follow me.
I'm ending my night with a little reading. Liking this book so far. ?
My current read! First book that I have read by Harlan Coben so looking forward to getting into it :)
This is the first book I ever read written by Harlan Coben, and I loved it immediately! I really love all his books! 😍
