As many of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer about two years ago and went through its subsequent treatments, including starting my breast reconstruction. So on June 23rd, I had the second half of that reconstruction, in which the balloon that expanded the skin in my breast area was taken out and a prothesis was put in as a result. I also had a lift on my right side done to make my breasts look symmetrical.

I‘m not reading as much as I‘d like, but I an reading more than I expected to. I‘ve read The Mad Wolf‘s Daughter and Wicked and the Wallflower for #Roll100 (good and meh, respectively), The Case of the Missing Moonstone (meh), reread Polaris Rising (always makes me feel better), and just finished Lore Olympus vol 1 for my Nov #BookSpin GN. I‘ve also made headway on The Heiress #PemberLittens and Vanity Fair.

I have no idea if I've got all my numbers in there, but I'm going to take a real close look this week at all my bingo cards and prompts this week. I completely forgot all about the photo prompts. 🙄

Hair is now getting a little thicker. The burn on my left side is a radiation burn, which is very normal. I am almost done all my acute cancer treatments, with 5 more radiation treatments left. I‘m looking forward to drinking alcohol again and being able to have my life back, to a certain extent. #cancer #update

Sorry I have not been around. Between Union stuff (I am now the AVP) and just life in general, plus this weekeds devasting news for the nation, I have just been swamped.

I'll pick things back up, starting with reviews in the next day or so. I have a ton to load.

This is an emotional m/m romance dealing with past trauma and panic attacks. Landon and Bailey share a connection but have to learn to trust each other. I liked the open communication throughout the story. Since it was so short, the plot at the beginning felt a little forced but otherwise I enjoyed it

I had a lot of missed opportunities this week, such as the 12 Colors of December and some selfie photos from Christmas that I just didn't even think about, probably because I don't like selfies or photos. But even still I managed to rack up quite a bit of points with this week's game. Even though team #readnosedreindeer doesn't seem to have a shot at winning this, I can't help but give it my all. For week 3 I got a total of 6,644 bringing my total numbers to 13,817. This week's game is sure to bring a lot of points. Though I have a feeling that will be the case for most folks. But I have hopes that it can be a game change for #readnosedreindeer. #WinterGames2020 @StayCurious

Update: Abigail and hubby are well enough to travel back home. We have been in South Carolina for a week. Both have a runny noise and coughing . Today is there 5th day of having the flu. Abigail still has a fever of 99.4 and slowly going down. She was up all night last night. Thank you for all the prayers ❤️😊

Does anyone else get worthless updates from Amazon? I KNOW issue #4 was released. I pre-ordered it weeks ago and downloaded it yesterday. The last update I received from them came two or three days after I received a new release in the mail. 🙄

Has anyone else seen the updates yet? I'm still figuring them out but I like the new stickers! 😆 I think there are new icons in the title bar of posts but I haven't figured them out yet. (Update: No new icons, just review, blurb,quote indicators that have always been there.)
