I really liked this Beauty and the Beast retelling. It's different than what I thought it would be, but in a good way. Beauty is a tough and brave hunter and the beast is half wolf and half man whose natures are internally battling over control. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. #beautyandthebeast #uppercasebox

"How nice for you." ? this book started a bit slow, but now I am about half way through and I'm really enjoying it.

This was a quick, fun read. I liked the adventure and plot twists. I didn't love it, but I enjoyed it. If you're looking for a story of a heartless, badass female pirate on the search for treasure, you'll like this book too.

This was a fun read! The protagonist isn't my favorite character, but the plot is exciting. I could never guess what would happen next! It's unpredictability kept me hooked. I vote yes!

Wow, this book was dark. It's about a girl who falls for a bounty hunter of souls. Which, okay I get it, sounds like a dark plot, but it was a bit much for me. The writing and storytelling were well done, but it was a super downer. I won't reveal anything, but I feel like the ending was not satisfying enough. I know he plans on making sequel so maybe that's why it feels a bit incomplete.

I read this book aloud to my 5th and 6th graders. We laughed and cried together. It is a wonderful way to teach empathy and choosing kindness. And the Star Wars references are perfect. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it!
