Gorgeous pages!
Pretty cover
3/5⭐️ the physical copy of the book is beautiful! I didn‘t love it like I thought it would. Still a fun book though and reads fast.
Excited to start this one!! I love the ocean and always dreamed of being a pirate when I was small. 🏴☠️ hoping for adventure, romance, and an exciting plot!! #highladyandhighseas #pirates #hopingforashark

I first read this book 5 years ago and agree with the 3-star rating I gave it then. This was Levenseller‘s first work, and that‘s how it reads - like she‘s finding her footing. That being said, she‘s one of my favorite teen authors because her characters & worlds are always adventurous and fun. It was good to be back with Alosa & Riden, & even though this isn‘t a favorite book, it was a fun reread.
Loved this! Alosa is so kick-ass and I totally loved her character. And I liked Riden as her counterpart too. There were some nice twists as well.
#bookspinbingo - free space and got a 4th bingo! I think that‘s my personal best!
#pop24 - book about pirates
Finally read this and loved it. We needed a YA pirate saga. Throw in some sirens and women have the power. Loved Riden and his fight to figure out what he was seeing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🏴☠️
📚Starting this one tonight! 😃🙌
I love avocados & my partner surprised me yesterday with this avocado hoodie and I‘m LOVING it. It‘s super cozy & warm & I don‘t wanna take it off. 🤣😂
I would wear it to the gym tomorrow if I could! 🙈🤪 He also got me a French coffee press & it‘s absolutely amazing! 🫠 I don‘t think I‘ll ever go back to instant coffee.
What‘s your favorite veggie/fruit?

In this YA novel we meet Red, the fearless and vivacious piratess and daughter of the Pirate King, who was sent on a mission to infiltrate an enemy ship and locate the map to the biggest and oldest treasure known to man. I loved the banter between Red and Riden and can‘t wait to continue the trilogy! 4/5
My other half went out of town for a week and brought back presents
Trying to get some reading in before work but Rumpel is offended that she's not getting more attention! 😹💕 Also, I can't believe it's taken me so long to read this book! It's incredible! #catsoflitsy #littenkitten #rumpel
You know it's going to be a good day when there are fresh donuts at work in the morning, and you're working the morning shift! 😋🍩
Is there anything worse on a Monday than work meetings?! 🙈 I get anxious and fidgety during any kind of meeting, so I always bring a few books with me! Just having them next to me immediately calms me down! Does anyone else do this? 🫠
This was a quick and fun read for me today. I enjoyed the setting and the characters. Truly a great summer read that's easy to get lost in.
I couldn‘t wait for this one to be over. I felt like I rode the struggle bus all the way through this one. It had a few interesting moments, but beyond those I was bored to tears. 2/5 ⭐️
Oh my gosh, I gave the tagged book to one of my students & I got this update from her dad (also a family friend) tonight. 🥺 This kid never reads. Literally never, but the protagonist reminded me so much of her that I thought I'd give it a shot. It just goes to show that kids don't hate reading, they just need to find the right book!
Thank you so much @KateReadsYA … so thoughtful and I can‘t wait to read it!! 🎄🎄🎄
Quick re-read
Loved it again and the next time I visit Alosa I will love her even more
“I am me because I choose to be me. I am what I want. Some people say you have to find yourself. Not I. I believe we create ourselves to be what we want.”
Awesome awesome awesome finds from #MyLittleFreeLibrary today! These were all like-new! Super excited for the tagged book! 😁
I liked sassy Alosa as a main character and Riden was also interesting character. There were even couple secondary characters that stole my heart.
I loved the setting and it was so awesome to read a story with pirates. I would have prefered to have a bit more adventure and less romance but there was more action at the end.
Story was simple but had several good twists. I was really entertained and enjoyed this book.

One personal takeaway that I got from this book was that even though it was an easier book to read, I liked the way that the main character was a strong female and the author was able to make her strong and brave/ independent without making her rude and cold.
I really enjoyed this book, so happy I picked up Daughter of the Siren Queen at the same time. Alosa is so strong and powerful. Riden is so caring and not your typical Pirate. I honestly couldn't wait to finish this book.
Finished So This Is Ever After last night. My husband took me to the bookstore yesterday and treated me to Daughter of the Pirate King and Daughter of the Siren Queen. Starting this one today.
Picture my cats paw with my book, after he tried to eat it. Haha!
"I'm going to show you something more magical than the stars."
?
Finished the next book in my TBR. I can‘t say enough about this book. Alosa gave me life with her witty comebacks and her way she can play men.
Can‘t wait to get book two!! 5⭐️
Just finished the first book in my #haul I was a little sceptical when I read the first few chapters thinking a wasted my money. I was wrong. After I got a little further in the book I started to connect with the characters and understand the word. 4⭐️
Did a kindle re-read forgot how much I enjoyed this book 🤨📖
Another book I wasn‘t really expecting to like much but oh boy! It was fabulous! The narrator is brilliant and brings the whole thing to life. Alosa is a fantastic protagonist and the story was really entertaining. I‘m onto the next book now, so cool. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was an entertaining read with great characters. I did not realize it was part one of a duology. I look forward to picking up the second book.
This wasn‘t for me. It started off well, but not much happened plotwise. I would have preferred an adventure story instead of adding in a romance. Most of the side characters were forgettable and I didn‘t like the main character-she came across as too perfect in everything she did.
I won‘t be picking up the sequel, but at least this one is off my TBR shelf.
I really enjoyed this book. I sometimes sensed hints of Fable, another pirate book I recommend. The story and characters were great. The pacing was steady for the most part but had a few hiccups at the end. This book held my interest to the point of not wanting to put it down. I'm glad I have book 2 on hand! 4 stars. **Looking to make new book friends? Join LiterALLy BOOKiSh on Facebook to read reviews, play games, join discussions and more!
Book haul from my day trip to visit my brother in Annapolis. Very excited about all three!
I really enjoyed this books and read it very quickly. I loved the fast-paced adventure and female pirates! I really liked the main characters and cannot wait to start the next part in the series! I highly reccomend this book to anyone who's a fan of pirates, badass female characters and great romance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“You're a woman. Act like it. You shouldn't be saying such foul-“
“I'll say whatever I please. I'm not a lady, I'm a pirate!“

actions.“
Even a man who‘s spent his whole life at sea has reason to fear her when she‘s angry.
“I sincerely hope I will get a chance to see you shoot someday, so long as I‘m not the target.”
“No promises.”
