Apothecary in 1791. Mudlarking in the present day.
The two are tied together when Caroline discovers a blue vial in the Thames River while mudlarking. She eventually figures out the vial came from an apothecary. I ADORED reading this!!! #netgalley

Where'd she go? He wants to find her!
Joshua practically lives in airports because of all the mandatory traveling for work. He hates flying so he pops Valium along with a drink before each flight. In an airport bar at a layover, he meets a woman. She's mysterious, wears a hat and sunglasses covering her face. They hit it off, then she walks away. #netgalley
This fun novel is told in lists. I texted this quote to my daughter who is a gummy candy connoisseur. She texted back the photo of what‘s in her kitchen. #netgalley @StMartinsPress
A short short story from Amazon‘s Disorder collection. When I finished it I let out a sad “oh” 😟. Http://amazon.com/Disorder
A long day of driving from the beach after loading the car —- and I find this surprise from @Kaylamburson This is a delight for me for many reasons. I like the card too. Thanks so much! #litsylove
@Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks the envelope arrived this way—- but the postcard-note and the bookmark are in perfect condition! I had to smile— you wrote on the outside of the envelope “Please Don‘t Bend” so they tore it. Beautiful bookmark and card! #litsylove
4 women work in the legal department of a large corp. A spreadsheet with names of sleazy men is passed around by email. Their boss‘ name is added to The BAD Men List. The women have to deal with the repercussions.
They cope with today's issues that also affect you and me. Some mini-essays cover success, motherhood, being nosy, judging, periods, guilt, fear of violence, & secrets. Well-written book. My favorite of 2019. Thanks, #NetGalley!
“We had complicated relationships with our bodies, while at the same time insisting that we loved them unconditionally. We were sure we had better, more important things to do than worry about them, but the slender yoga bodies of moms in Lululemon at school pickup taunted us.”
One of my favorite reads last year. $1.99 on Kindle. https://www.amazon.com/Best-Day-Ever-Riveting-Psychological-ebook/dp/B06XFJFJ17/...

My mother, grandmother and aunts wrote LOTS of letters. 📫🖌. #jb #LitsyLove

Interesting short-story “Mailman” by Jonathan Stone. George White has delivered the mail for 35 years to this same neighborhood. He knows their mail, who is getting what. Our mail carriers know we get books!
@dariazeoli Happiest decade to you! This is the Time magazine cover I mentioned in my card to you. 🎂🍷🍺🍸 #jb Note to others: I was depressed about turning 40; the week of my birthday this Time magazine came in my mailbox and lifted my spirits.

Four of the pillars are qualities of the mind. Four are qualities of the heart.
Reading this book as part of my IRL postal book group.
Today‘s mail! First time for me to see numbers on an ARC. It even has an embossed seal on the inside cover.
British author. Story set in California. WHY is one of the 7 dwarves called Dozy when the characters are in California?
Lots of supernatural stuff. The dwarves have erections.
I unsubscribed from Voracious Readers Only immediately because they advertised this book as “Psychological Thriller.” No way! Should have advertised it as “Supernaturalcaliphallic Erotica”
All done #bookaweekchallenge the Other Woman was a quick enjoyable read, in fact all four books were!
