I just spent the last week reading the trials and tribulations of Arden St. Ives and I have been absolutely enthralled. This particular installment left me an anxiety ridden mess for most of it, but it was worth it! This series was so much better than 50 Shades of Grey and I liked 50 Shades of Grey.😂 Alexis Hall is rapidly becoming a favourite author! 👍👍 #ArdenStIves #ArdyBaby

Bravo, Robinne Lee, bravo. You took this middle-aged, married mother of 3 on a torrid love affair that had me seriously pondering a young lover. (Shhhh...don't tell my husband😉) However, I think you just might be a sadist. 🤔

This book left me with a serious book hangover and I'm sure I'll be thinking about it for days, at the very least.

😊 This book gave me all the warm and fuzzy feels! Not only was it a romantic fairytale with a prince, but it was also an American political fairytale/reimagining with a world that is better than the one we are actually in. I even teared up and got chills at one part that made me hope that maybe someday it will be true. Fantastic Read!!❤️👍

For those of you that use Goodreads, when you DNF a book, do you mark it as "read" or no? #DNF

sprainedbrain This is such a struggle for me! If I think I will try it again, I put it on my ‘dnf‘ shelf and leave as want to read. If I bail and know I won‘t touch it again, I just remove from my shelves completely, so it‘s not marked read. 6y
Kristy_K If I read over 60% of it I‘ll shelf it as ‘read‘ otherwise I have an exclusive shelves for my DNFs. 6y
baes I have an exclusive shelf for my abandoned books. That way I don‘t have to mark it one of the 3 choices. You can do this on a desktop. 5y

So I decided to try this book after seeing it recently on some high profile Best Romance Books lists. I'm nearly 40% in and I'm struggling. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a good Alpha Male Romance, but these characters are starting to get on my nerves! Does anyone know if it gets better? To finish or not to finish, that is the question.

This book's content was interesting, but I wasn't terribly fond of the presentation. The story played out in reverse and was a bit awkward and confusing at times. The author's note at the end was probably the best part. In it Picoult offers some very interesting arguments regarding the social complexities that surround the pro-life vs. pro-choice debate.

I'd been wanting to read this for awhile and I finally got around to it a couple of weeks ago. After finishing it, I was officially hooked! I then proceeded to devour the next 3 books in the series over the past week. Now I am undecided. Do I start book 5 knowing I will have to read it slowly as chapters are doled out weekly on #Wattpad or do I hold off till the whole book is available and devour it all at once? 😞 What to do, what to do....

I finished this book and decided to watch the movie the same day. Both were really good. I loved the rawness of the book and the feelings it evoked, reminding me of that obsessive fascination brought on by first true love. The movie was brought to life by Timothée Chalamet. He played Elio to perfection. Armie Hammer was no slouch either, but the closing scene, though different from the book, was heartbreaking.

I've been really behind on my Litsy book reviews.☹️ No time like the present to catch up on them. The #ACOTAR series is one of my all time favourites, so while this novella was just a small tidbit and wasn't as good as the rest of the series, it was still really good! I absolutely adore Rhysand!😍

I started this tome on #Overdrive on Feb. 3 & I've been plodding along at a decent pace. Read a couple of other books when it expired for a bit, but I was able to renew it quickly. It's a long book & I was enjoying it, but then I hit a wall. It has taken me over a week to read the last 3 chapters. For those that have read it, these are the Felurian chapters. I'm convinced Patrick Rothfuss got a bit randy one night and wrote these chapters.😁
